I have used Alteryx Designer to perform predictive analytics that helps in predicting the selling of products, particularly in banking and financial areas.

I use it for data preparation, mainly cleaning raw data.

I use the solution to build pipelines, schedule them, and do some data transformations and data cleaning.

We use Alteryx Designer to construct workflows, encompassing data extraction from various platforms such as SQL Server and in-database sources. Subsequently, we automate these workflows and push the filtered data to Tableau for dashboard creation. This process forms our daily routine, streamlining tasks efficiently.

We use the solution for our ETL process, which involves moving data between source and reporting servers.

My main use for Alteryx Designer is automating routine daily tasks by creating predefined workflows that run on databases. I use it primarily for data preparation, blending, and simplifying complex tasks into streamlined processes.

With Alteryx, we mostly fetch data from SQL, SQL server databases, and SharePoint. Some team members were doing the task using Excel for a long time with Macros and Excel functions like VLOOKUP, and these things become quite easy when you are using Alteryx as a solution.

We have automated the processes and scheduled the workflow so that users don't have to sit in front of the system to do the same tasks every day. So, the system will trigger the workflow, and it will send the output file to the concerned team. We are mainly using this solution for data blending and preparation. 

We use Alteryx Designer for data manipulation.

I use Alteryx Designer as an ETL for extracting data, transforming it in my flow, cleaning it up, joining it with other data sources, and then applying it to my business logic, which envisages a Tableau dashboard. 

We use Alteryx Designer to enable business users to automate their workflows so they don't have to spend time in Excel doing things like pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, or HLOOKUPS. Instead, they can spend more time on analysis than being a spreadsheet slinger.

The main use case is regarding the finance field, due to its ability to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a target database. It enables quick migration of data, with added calculations and transformations, resulting in higher performance compared to other tools.

My use case related to Alteryx Designer begins when, in my company, we need our output data in Excel only. One of the use cases of the tool stems during times when you want to do some data manipulation or automation by connecting Alteryx Designer with APIs and by using a lot of tools to turn your raw data into finished data to get the final data in the form of structured tables in Excel. In our company, when we don't need any sort of Excel output, we use other tools like Power BI to prepare the dashboard. When in our company, we need output in Excel only, then we use Alteryx Designer.

My company specializes in financial consulting, and we primarily use the product for finance-related processes. 

We use the solution for file loading and occasional API integration. While I have experience working with APIs, there are specific use cases that I still need to implement. My projects have involved some data cleansing, although it hasn't been complex.

We have a client who is manually processing Excel files. They want to do some integrations and calculate values in their spreadsheets, and they're working with multiple steps and complex formulas. 

We migrate everything into Alteryx, which our client can use to change values, eliminating the manual steps that they were doing on Excel. That was the last job I did, but it wasn't data preparation. It was more like an ETL thing. 

We have multiple clients and multiple use cases - for every type of domain, be it finance, marketing, any domain. I cannot be very specific about them, however, there are plenty of use cases for different sectors.

As a consultancy, we sell projects on Alteryx. I've done projects based on data integration, data preparation, and also we have a data science project that we are working on as well.

This product is used for reporting and designing workflow processes.

We have a few customers who use this solution. They already have this solution in their company. They ask us to help them in creating different flows for different solutions and preparing different kinds of data. We only give support to these customers. We are using the latest version.

I use Alteryx to transform Excel tables into XML format.

I mainly use Alteryx Designer for automation purposes.
