SAP Business Data Cloud brings a unified foundation and solution for using AI from the embedded Databricks, and it is helpful for creating dashboards or reports in a short span of time using intelligent applications, which also reduces manual errors.

When creating dashboards, consider a working capital or revenue dashboard; you may have your own calculations which might not be suitable for the business you are developing for. However, with SAP Business Data Cloud, you have a unified structure for all businesses with a whole semantic structure. You won't have manual errors, and you can directly plug into the data source or data products to have dashboards and reports.

If you need dashboards or reports regarding a working capital application, you can search in the intelligent application to find a suitable application. For example, if you need a working capital dashboard, you can find it there and connect it with the data source. You can then have real-time data processing in SAP Business Data Cloud with whatever data source you have, whether it is from a third-party source or SAP source. You can connect and have working capital dashboards or reports in a small amount of time without much development. You can use it directly, and even if you need any customization or custom logic, you can make a copy of the model and make the changes accordingly to have it as a separate copy.

SAP Business Data Cloud has prebuilt data products and insight apps, which are intelligent applications, and a unified data platform that brings together the semantic constructs of both SAP and non-SAP data. It also has a zero-copy delta sharing approach, which means we won't persist or store the data in some places. We will directly get it from the source system and process it accordingly. We can also use the AI features and the embedded Databricks, so we can use the features of Databricks.

Zero-copy delta sharing means SAP Business Data Cloud can share data with another platform without physically duplicating it or storing it. This is helpful because the data stays in the original place, which reduces data movement and avoids extra copies, making the sharing easier and more efficient in a governed manner. Regarding AI features, we can use Databricks where we can use Python or script language for planning or any other use cases.

SAP Business Data Cloud helps the company by providing a space where we can trust all our data to SAP, and leadership can make decisions faster with less effort. It reduces the time spent on developing objects like reports or dashboards and also helps in planning, forecasting, and AI features across all modules including Finance, HR, supply chain, and others.

SAP Business Data Cloud is a new tool, and we need much more time to use its full capability and understand the advantages and disadvantages. As of now, it is based upon the consumption unit; whatever dashboards or reports you use from the AI will consume the capacity unit. We will need to figure out the consumption unit or the units spent on the business for a particular report and compare it with the manually developed report, which will be accessible at all times without any restrictions.

I have been working for the past four years and I have known multiple technologies including SAC, Databricks, Datasphere, HANA, and native HANA.

From what we have worked with, SAP Business Data Cloud is stable. There are no issues in the connectivity.

SAP Business Data Cloud is a SaaS product, so it comes as a BTP solution, and the scalability is better.

SAP Business Data Cloud subscription-based pricing is completely based upon the capacity units used by the business users. If you are using dashboards or intelligent packages often or repetitively, the capacity units will also increase, so the pricing and other factors will vary.

We directly chose SAP Business Data Cloud since it is a SAP product which exists in our SAP environment. It also has the features of Databricks and a few other applications which will be added more in the future, and the existing BW can be supported in the system. We can also connect with Datasphere and HANA Cloud.

We have not used a previous solution based on AI.

Currently, if you are using an on-premise system, you first need to move your system to the private cloud edition and connect with SAP Business Data Cloud. If you are using HANA Cloud directly, you can use SAP Business Data Cloud directly. It would be much more helpful if SAP Business Data Cloud features were available directly in the on-premise system by having any external software or application instead of moving it through the private cloud editions.

We can go for SAP Business Data Cloud if we can use the intelligent application or any third-party data products. If you need to use the AI features, we can use it from SAP Business Data Cloud corporate and the LLM models we have. If you are expecting many other features, you can first cross-check with the SAP team or you can have a trial account, then you can make the evaluation on purchasing or having SAP Business Data Cloud.

Since we are using zero-copy delta sharing, the speed and reliability of the data are much faster and easily governed since we don't have duplications in multiple layers.

Regarding how the integration affects our management process, it will actually reduce the difficulty in maintaining and governance of the data.

For example, if you need to create a dashboard, and if the same report or development also exists in the intelligent application, instead of replicating or redeveloping the whole logic from scratch, which will be time-consuming and incur costs in manpower, you can save money by using the intelligent applications that already exist and just need to plug in with the data source.

Data products hold the metadata and semantic layer with the meaning of the fields or the data. For example, a material number and what it stands for, including the description and other details, are stored in the metadata.

I have used the self-service analytical feature in SAP Business Data Cloud. The embedded AI tools include predictive modeling features. This helps the team to make developments quickly, so we can have the reports in hand in a short span of time, and the accuracy is also better. We just need to recheck the logic and make sure the business is aligned with the existing logic, and it will help the business to make quick decisions.

We can expand the semantic layer with the knowledge graphs and have AI agents such as Joule in our backbone which will be helpful in understanding complex business relationships. We can have more data products which will be useful in the future, and SAP has promised to have more data products from other sources in the future. This will be very useful for the business.

Accuracy depends upon the logic; it will give 100% accuracy, but the logic behind it needs to be suitable for your business case. It may be different in some cases; at that point, we need to go into the customization logic. Otherwise, it shows 100% result.

We can have multiple data products and much more flexibility by connecting to third-party sources, which will be helpful in the future. I would rate my overall experience with SAP Business Data Cloud as an 8 out of 10.

My clients mainly use SAP Business Data Cloud for financial planning and financial reporting. For example, clients in the public sector use SEC reporting to evaluate projects, budgeting, and percentage from the budget according to the completion tasks. All of the financial reports on SAP Business Data Cloud as a reporting tool are very accurate and very smart.

In my opinion, the most useful and valuable functions in SAP Business Data Cloud are the financial reporting, which is the main component. In the project system, you could find a good reporting tool because there are standard reports in SEC. You could use it by plug and play, as the creation of the story and the dashboard is already embedded in the system, so you could use it directly.

SAP Business Data Cloud makes daily operations with the data faster and easier for the end users. The platform is very user-friendly because there is not much coding or any complicated scenario. The end user could use it very easily.

The main benefits end users receive from SAP Business Data Cloud include deep insight analytics on cloud to plan and to get the real live data on a unified view or consistent view to be aware and to take decisions, to speed up performance, and to know the gaps and to fix the gaps. It is a very smart analytic tool.

A potential area of improvement for SAP Business Data Cloud is the component between the intelligent data which is actually coming from outside of SAP. Datasphere needs to be affordable for all customers because it is a new technology and it is a very good start for SAP to shift to cloud in this tool, especially because this tool actually works with another one in the database. SAP acquired database tooling and new tooling to absorb this data into SEC or in the SAP umbrella, for example on BTP because SEC is one of the analytic pillars in Business Technology Platform. Data intelligent, data flow, and data pipeline are all very much more expensive now. What we need is to decrease this cloud solution because it is a cloud and we have to democratize this.

I have been working with SAP Business Data Cloud for over ten years, since the beginning of the year.

I would rate the stability of the product at ten.

I would rate the scalability of the product at eight.

My mark for SAP technical support and vendor support depends upon the region, but I can rate it at eight also.

A main competitor for SAP Business Data Cloud in the market is Microsoft. Microsoft has a reporting tool that is not bad, but not for planning because SAP in planning is advanced. The competitor now is dying in front of the German software, so there is no competition. SAP is acquiring a lot of solutions to make it very smart. For example, Signavio provides a reporting tool for process mining, and another one for user adoption called WalkMe for teaching the end users how to use this solution or how to make the persona. In addition, they are now embedding a lot of AI algorithms everywhere. At the end, they become good in integration tools because the integration suite has no competition also. If the integration is fine to use and stable, the data will be a good source and a true source to be live. A lot of tools providing SEC with a lot of data could be good, but AWS is using SAP in financial cloud, and Google is using SAP. Microsoft is using SAP and Microsoft itself is using SAP in their selling their products all over the world. So why are those big names using SAP? There is no competition.

The integration between S/4 HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Business Data Cloud is effective as it is a cloud to cloud integration. It is much easier than the integration between hyperscaler or on-prem systems and SAP on cloud. Cloud to cloud is very easy because the database is already designed for that. HANA Cloud and Vector options are all well-defined because they created this for that. However, the Datasphere layer is too expensive to put it inside the integration to make the data unified and very smart. SAP has to make this layer much easier for implementation and they need also to decrease the cost for this integration tool because it is a catalog.

Integrations with platforms including Snowflake, Google, or Microsoft work in SAP Business Data Cloud through SAP Integration Suite, but in a platform called Business Technology Platform. Even if I need to adjust SEC to absorb the data from on-prem solutions using cloud keys, SAP provides the iFlow and already free to see it in Discovery Center. You could apply only the iFlow according to certain technical connections or connectors or even Event Mesh. Integration Suite is the first one all over the world. You could connect SAP and non-SAP directly in BTP. If you need a certain data to be a certain data view or certain sensitive data, it could be very valuable for certain reporting tools in SEC. You could do that with the data view. The core data view, which is actually a very essential setting in Fiori, the front-end system, allows you to select a certain data and a certain standard reporting dashboard or whatever you need. If you need non-SAP to merge non-SAP systems to be merged with SAP data, at the end you could see an integrated scenario data set and data dashboard. For example, reporting tools, you could do that because we already did it in CX and ERP on SEC and also Salesforce and ERP on SEC at the end. It is multi-linking and a multi-tenant solution and you could link SAP and non-SAP together in SEC.

I ensure that data keeps the same meaning in relations when it moves between different systems through what is called live data.

I would rate the pricing of the product as moderate in SEC without tools. However, if we need to complete the solution for planning and for Datasphere, it will be very expensive. But for reporting, it is acceptable.

It is very easy to integrate SAP Business Data Cloud with third-party platforms as it is very easy to connect the data source for SAP and non-SAP because it is a cloud setup.

I am still intensively working with SAP Business Data Cloud.

People use SAP Business Data Cloud to work together with some AI assistants as it is embedded actually in SEC, the Ask Joule. It is called Ask Joule and it is free. It is free to create a story and create a dashboard by using long language model. You could chat with the Copilot or the Joule assistant to create your certain reporting tool, dashboard or certain reporting after you write the prompt. It is easy to use and it is free to use SAP Business Data Cloud. You can ask SAP Business Data Cloud to create for you a sales report or a financial closing report and actually in SAP Business Data Cloud it is easy to do that because they have the template of the story and only they could activate the story and show you the data in a dashboard.

The self-service analytic feature in SAP Business Data Cloud helps to change the data model quickly. The self-service is actually through an app in Fiori. The embedded analytic is different from SEC. The embedded analytic per module or per functional area could be at the end of the transaction, you could see the embedded analytic in Fiori, in the system itself. For example, S/4HANA Cloud or S/4HANA on RISE program. You could see it in Fiori apps, which is the front end of the system. But in SEC, the analytic provides more deep insights because you have to create the story and you have to mention the dimension of the data. Also, you have to set up to figure out the dashboard with a certain dimension and certain view. In SEC it is deeply analytic, but in self-service analytics which is in Fiori, it is embedded and automatically displayed. But there is a self-service in SEC also, another one, but it is also working with the SEC app.

There is an embedded AI which is handled in SAP. It is already embedded and there is no decision to take it or leave it. It is already embedded. There is advanced AI above the base. There is a base AI which consists of assistants and chatbot called Joule. Joule could assist the user to create sales orders, create purchase orders, mention maintenance orders or search for something very advanced or create something very complex and complicated workflows, and could show the customer what they have to do today according to their role. The baseline for AI is already free also. The only setup we have to do is in the implementation. But above this, with a specific scenario and specific model, because you have to buy the license and the license is already offered in the bill of material, it is by AI unit. So if you need a specific or customized AI scenario or model, it is called a model in AI Launchpad. You could activate a certain model for certain business processes, then you can use it per AI unit.

There is nothing to suggest for additional functions for SAP Business Data Cloud. They created a design according to a latest UI or UX design, which is actually very easy to use and they did not leave anything actually because we do not need to make the screen very busy for the end user. We have to make it simple to use. The back end is the technical connection, which is in BTP setting, but in SEC, it is fair enough to use it that way. My overall review rating for SAP Business Data Cloud is nine.

My main use case for SAP Business Data Cloud is to utilize data primarily for intelligent application deployments, especially in finance, for working capital insights and applications, as well as for data ML/AI use cases with the use of Databricks integrated within SAP Business Data Cloud.

For an example of how we use SAP Business Data Cloud, we utilize in-built applications for finance and working capital. We activate the building content in the VDC and configure connections with the SAP side, resulting in a final dashboard layer built on the SAC side with data movement to the datasphere.

The best feature of SAP Business Data Cloud is that it is cloud-based, offers multiple connectors, and serves as the foundation for Datasphere and Databricks, which allows systems to work in harmony.

The connectors in SAP Business Data Cloud are very useful because they allow us to consolidate data from various application servers as different departments use their applications, enabling management to obtain a consolidated view of data across those applications.

SAP Business Data Cloud is rapidly rolling out new quarterly features, and one of its best features is the help portal providing documentation on upcoming launches and recent deliveries, helping us leverage this tool better.

Since our organization began using SAP Business Data Cloud, it has had a positive impact on our efficiency. Specific positive changes we have seen include improvements in decision-making speed, where development of new dashboards and insights applications has become rapid using the Xyle methodology, and cost savings, as we have reduced the costs of multiple software licenses to one packaged license.

The trial version of SAP Business Data Cloud did not provide the flexibility we needed to connect with our quality and development servers, and we encountered struggles, but with SAP support, we eventually managed to establish those connections.

Regarding performance and user experience in SAP Business Data Cloud, it is currently a product that is not fully matured yet. However, user experience is improving with quarterly upgrades, and users are adapting to the technology. I chose an eight because the initial learning curve and adaptability were challenging, in addition to the rapidly changing environment of SAP Business Data Cloud, which accounted for a reduction in points, but this is not a major issue.

They should continue upgrading to keep pace with competitors like Cognos Analytics, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services.

I have been using SAP Business Data Cloud for the last fifteen months.

SAP Business Data Cloud is stable, while also continuously evolving.

SAP Business Data Cloud is highly scalable as it is a cloud-based solution.

The customer support for SAP Business Data Cloud is nice and allows for various ways to connect.

We previously used BW as a different solution.

My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing for SAP Business Data Cloud has been simple, with bundle pricing that was also easy to communicate to top management.

We did not evaluate other options before choosing SAP Business Data Cloud because we were already on SAP, and it is the flagship product we could not migrate away from as it integrates seamlessly with our existing SAP ERP system.

We have definitely seen a return on investment, as we save money and time by consolidating software licenses into one subscription, which is far easier to manage.

Moving old BW data to SAP Business Data Cloud has helped us with our daily data operations.

Connecting SAP Business Data Cloud to platforms like Snowflake and Google has changed the way our team manages and moves data, allowing us to get data from various SQL servers and Snowflake.

For others considering SAP Business Data Cloud, I advise them to leverage multiple data sources and AI training, while also paying attention to the infrastructure since SAP takes care of that. I provided this review a rating of eight.

In the current project, we are implementing an end-to-end financial planning and analysis project where we are bringing the data from S/4HANA into Datasphere and from there we are creating planning models and the dashboards in SAP SAC.

We bring the actual data of AC DOCA table of S/4HANA into Datasphere, where we automate their P&L reporting, balance sheet reporting, and on top of that in Datasphere, we are doing some data transformation, data conversion and at the end in SAC, we are doing a live models which connects real-time with S/4HANA and the business is able to generate their financial statements into SAC using SAP Business Data Cloud via S/4HANA data.

We have integrated Datasphere with S/4HANA, so whatever transactions are getting posted, I can see real-time updates in the SAP SAC dashboard.

The data is just residing in SAP Business Data Cloud because the data coming from the source, S/4HANA, we are validating it in Datasphere and at the end we are showing it in SAP SAC.

The purpose of implementing SAP Business Data Cloud is to avoid the manual work mainly. Previously, the business users would take the outputs of S/4HANA into Excel and then upload in Power BI to get the reports. But now this exercise is avoided. The master data, transaction data is linked directly with SAP Business Data Cloud. Tomorrow, if new members are added in S/4HANA, it automatically updates in the dashboards and reports part as well.

The main important point which catches the eye of every business using SAP Business Data Cloud is it has a very tight integration. It provides good integration with S/4HANA as well as SuccessFactors for workforce planning. On top of that, Datasphere offers more flexibility in data transformation and master data conversion. SAP SAC facilitates front-end reporting and planning through seamless planning processes.

SAP Business Data Cloud is a comprehensive package offering data warehousing, dashboard, and report creation for key management users. It also supports annual planning and rolling forecasts. Once these processes are finalized, it enables machine learning via the Databricks part of the solution, turning it into a more practical packaged solution.

From a user experience perspective, there isn't a significant change as the front end remains similar. This consistency ensures users find the transition smoother as SAP Business Data Cloud forms the back end.

From an improvement side, it is too early to comment. For now, I don't see any improvement which I am able to recollect right now.

Based on what I have observed so far, I would give eight points because I haven't seen the Databricks part of it.

As I mentioned, the Databricks part is very important as it is a package. Once we have Databricks fully up and running and I have experienced it, then only I will be able to give two more points in it.

I have been using SAP for around four to five years.

We have received responses to everything we raised. The service has been good so far.

We switched because of the integration of S/4HANA and SAP Business Data Cloud.

We are just the implementation partner. We are not the one who bought this.

I think we have covered the main points, but one point is right now we are mainly focusing on the reporting part, but going forward, we will automate the revenue planning process, cost of revenue planning, CAPEX planning, workforce planning, all this together will flow as a complete budgeted P&L statement in SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP SAC.

We are using self-service within SAP SAC and this helps a lot for business users because they need not rely on the IT team for small changes. They can do slice and dice on their own.

I would suggest them to go for it if it comes within their budget. SAP Business Data Cloud is good to have within the organization. I am giving this solution a rating of ten out of ten.

My main use case for SAP Business Data Cloud involves installation of data products and creation of data products, and sometimes ingestion of data to non-SAP data cloud such as AWS S3 as well as ADLS Gen2 and sometimes GCP as well.

The process of creating and installing data products in SAP Business Data Cloud is very simple; I just have to find out the use case for which I am trying to find the data product. If I find any data product that is related or matching to my requirement, I just have to search in the catalog and then click a button to find the data package. Then I install it and automatically, the data gets stored in the underlying object store and if I want, I can proceed further in the datasphere and process whatever is required.

Apart from that, sometimes I use the data products from the BWPC, such as generating the data products on the BW objects using the data product generator, which is also one of my use cases. For one of my clients, I am implementing that use case.

The best features SAP Business Data Cloud offers include the data intelligent application and the data product because if I find the standard intelligent application that is suitable to my requirement, I don't have to do anything else; I just find the corresponding intelligent application and install it. That's it. I get an end-to-end application and can start using the SAC dashboard without further actions. Apart from that, even if some requirements are not matching, I can customize that intelligent application or customize that standard data product and can create derived data using the standard data products before proceeding as per my requirement to build data models on top of it and then create a SAC dashboard or story based on those analytical models.

The main standout feature is BDC Connect, as it is very useful for sharing data without replicating to third-party tools such as Enterprise Databricks, Snowflake or even in the near future, Google BigQuery as well as Microsoft Fabric. We don't have to replicate; we can share it from BDC and start using it in those tools, where data scientists or data engineers can build the corresponding pipelines or the AI/ML use cases and share back to SAP Business Data Cloud.

SAP Business Data Cloud has positively impacted my organization as it is getting more business compared to earlier due to unique use cases such as intelligent applications and BDC Connect. Because of that, our team and organization are seeing improvements in net revenue and other financial metrics compared to earlier.

Revenue has increased because of SAP Business Data Cloud, as we are gaining more traction and business. We have built some accelerators that help customers utilizing our services, leading to a significant increase in revenue of at least twenty to twenty-five percent because of these data products.

SAP Business Data Cloud can be improved as some of the features from BWPC are still not available in the Data Product Generator. Including features such as multi-provider or legacy BW object access could be helpful. Also, if connections to third-party tools such as Power BI and Tableau can improve, it would enhance customer interaction. Additionally, if SAP can come up with innovative options to reduce licensing costs, many customers would incline toward SAP Business Data Cloud since some are currently moving towards non-SAP tools such as Fabric, Databricks, or BigQuery due to cost constraints.

The performance when utilizing the zero-copy data share via BDC Connect could be improved, as it would be very useful for most customers who start using it. Right now, some customers face issues because of BDC Connect.

I have already mentioned all of the issues I faced, so I don't have additional improvements to add.

I have been using SAP Business Data Cloud for around three years, starting with SAP Datasphere and now it's into SAP BDC, such as SAP BDC Cockpit and SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Databricks, SAP Snowflake.

SAP Business Data Cloud is somewhat stable, but it still needs some improvement, which I mentioned earlier.

SAP Business Data Cloud's scalability is great, but it also needs some improvement.

Customer support is generally good, though we sometimes face issues with responsiveness.

I would rate customer support a seven out of ten because sometimes they do not respond properly, so if they can improve on that, my rating could improve.

We were using SAP Datasphere during our BW migration, but now with SAP Business Data Cloud, we can simply convert existing objects to BDC, eliminating the need for replication flow to get data into Datasphere, as most features now are just a click of a button thanks to intelligent applications and data products.

We did not purchase SAP Business Data Cloud through the AWS Marketplace; we purchased it directly from SAP but deployed it on-site.

I have seen a return on investment; especially in terms of the number of employees needed to run projects, many features are just a click of a button. We have saved a lot on the number of employees, and implementation time for the projects has reduced significantly since we started using the standard features of SAP Business Data Cloud.

Frankly, pricing, setup cost, and licensing seem a bit high compared to other hyperscalers, but if SAP works on that and provides some innovative options, it could improve and help them gain market share by reducing licensing costs slightly.

Before choosing SAP Business Data Cloud, I evaluated options such as Databricks, Fabric, and GCP. Based on the complexity of integrating SAP data with those options, we decided to advance with SAP Business Data Cloud for SAP data, while utilizing Databricks for non-SAP data processing combined with BDC Connect.

We are currently not using the universal business context capability in SAP Business Data Cloud.

We have utilized SAP BDC Connect for data integration with partner systems, specifically connecting to enterprise SAP Databricks, which helps us improve data and decision-making by combining AI/ML features from enterprise Databricks.

We have utilized the BWPC feature for modernizing the BW. By using the data product generator, we have converted BW objects into SAP Business Data Cloud corresponding objects. I think it needs more improvement because there are limitations on utilizing legacy objects as part of the data product generator, and this feature has helped us migrate BW to BWPC, allowing us to innovate according to the latest features of SAP Business Data Cloud.

We have not utilized the BDC Connect service with new partners such as Snowflake, Google, or Microsoft. We plan to test that feature for Snowflake and when Fabric becomes available, we will certainly test that with BDC Connect.

We have not done the integration between SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Business Data Cloud. We are planning to do that to fetch data from underlying HANA Cloud, such as calculation views for use within SAP Business Data Cloud context.

We are not yet utilizing the Data Product Studio in SAP Business Data Cloud.

We have partially utilized the analytical agility feature in SAP Business Data Cloud; while we have not used it to the fullest, whatever we have used has helped our organization.

SAP Business Data Cloud's ability to eliminate silos between agents with a shared understanding of the business stands out; we can combine data from both SAP and non-SAP sources in one place, even unstructured data into SAP Business Data Cloud through BDC Connect for reporting, which is a great feature. Improving the performance slightly would make it even better.

I assess SAP Business Data Cloud's AI features as improving, and I appreciate the Joule integration with Datasphere and SAC, as well as BDC Cockpit. I think if they can allow users to choose the LLM based on their specific needs or requirements, that could enhance the product.

My advice for others looking into using SAP Business Data Cloud is to switch to SAP Business Data Cloud because it's a great product, and they can save a lot in the long term, especially for migrating BW and utilizing the standard features of SAP Business Data Cloud such as intelligent applications and data products. They can also integrate non-SAP data into SAP Business Data Cloud efficiently. I would give this product an overall rating of eight out of ten.

I use SAP Business Data Cloud on the cloud where I am leveraging various use cases in business data. In my workflow, CDS views to SAP Business Data Cloud provide reports for SAC Analytics Cloud, allowing templates and direct report access for users without disrupting the source from S/4HANA. My use case focuses on planning, fast access, templates, and agents, as multiple cloud versions including PCE and private editions exist, with newly added features also being a consideration.

The biggest impact for me and my client comes from the integration and reporting aspects, as normally in BW/4HANA, high costs are incurred when purchasing separate features, but in SAP Business Data Cloud, all features can be accessed under one purchase.

The positive impact of SAP Business Data Cloud on my organization is evident, especially since my client is planning to migrate from ECC to S/4 and SAP Business Data Cloud, significantly reducing the time and resources required to create data objects and manage budgets.

My analysis indicates that team size can be reduced by around 30 to 50 percent, and cost-wise, almost 50 percent will be reduced as well.

The best feature of SAP Business Data Cloud is that it serves as an umbrella connecting all components, enabling connections with datasphere, SAC, BW/4HANA, and data analytics, effectively consolidating everything under one umbrella. SAP Business Data Cloud ensures data maintains its meaning and relationships across various systems by supporting all types of ODA sources, involving both SAP and non-SAP data sources from Oracle, Java, and unstructured data from platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.

Currently, I find the DevOps features to be lacking in SAP Business Data Cloud, and I hope that upcoming versions will enhance DevOps capabilities and provide better structured and unstructured data support.

I have identified some issues with the DataBricks in SAP Business Data Cloud, and I believe that new versions should focus on providing more features, especially on the DevOps side and regarding templates.

I left my review on Qlik Analytics Platform and SAP Analytics Hub. We are only using SAP products currently. I have been using SAP Analytics Hub for 20 years now.

I have been using it as a partner, specifically as a partner integrator. We are using SAP Analytics Hub for two reasons: one is for cataloging and one is for sending out data from SAP products to data lakes and others.

As a partner, I can mention something positive about SAP Analytics Hub: its products are tightly integrated, so the business context of data is retained in the analytics solution, and that's the main advantage. The access control feature impacts our security overall, which is a good feature to have.

The search function in SAP Analytics Hub is not effective. When speaking about integration with various analytic sources, for example, if I wanted to send the data from SAP BW or B4HANA to a data lake, we used to earlier use the Open Data Hub or Analytics Hub. Nowadays, we are using the Data Sphere integrators available with Amazon, Azure, and Google Cloud. The search capability could be better, and SAP needs to come out with a clear roadmap for the solution going ahead, as they have not yet provided that.

I have been using SAP Analytics Hub for 20 years now.

Nowadays, I find it straightforward to install SAP Analytics Hub. Earlier it was different, but most of the solutions from SAP now have automated installation guides, making it much simpler.

I find it stable now. SAP Analytics Hub's analytics solutions are also pretty stable now.

It is easy to scale now and there are no limitations.

The technical support from SAP Analytics Hub is adequate but not brilliant. If I were to rate support from one to ten, I would give it a six or seven. Something could be improved about it. The main issue is the quality, which is where improvements are needed.

Comparing SAP Analytics Hub with other products, there are some big technical differences. Snowflake is an end-to-end data warehouse solution that caters to all SAP and non-SAP needs, whereas SAP Analytics Hub is more suited for SAP solutions. People don't buy SAP's analytical solution just for their analytical story if they don't have an SAP solution, so it is highly centric to SAP.

I have not done any calculations on time saved by the SAP Analytics Hub centralized platform. We have built our own accelerators which help us save time, but I have not done any calculations specifically for Analytics Hub. The positive impact I see from the product is that it saves me time, approximately 10 to 20%, not more than that.

When speaking about integration with various analytic sources, for example, if I wanted to send the data from SAP BW or B4HANA to a data lake, we used to earlier use the Open Data Hub or Analytics Hub. My main use case for SAP Business Data Cloud is primarily with SAP Datasphere, but I also help customers connect SAP Business Data Cloud with Databricks.

Currently, customers are transitioning from SAP Business Warehouse into SAP Business Data Cloud, so I am helping customers navigate through that transition.

There are other POCs that customers are trying right now, specific to Databricks, but soon we're going to do it with Snowflake as well regarding my main use case and how I am helping customers with SAP Business Data Cloud.

The best features SAP Business Data Cloud offers include replication from the transactional system, from the S/4HANA system, which customers value more, and everything related to change data capture and the ability to connect to SAP CDS views.

Currently, SAP Business Data Cloud's approved way to extract data out of the system impacts my projects and my customer's experience as it goes through SAP Business Data Cloud, whether it's native Datasphere or using data products that SAP Business Data Cloud platform provides.

The ability to share data into platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks is also a value that customers are exploring regarding the features of SAP Business Data Cloud, but I don't find any specific use case that customers are taking this technology at scale, although I think it will come.

SAP Business Data Cloud has impacted my organization and my customers' organizations positively as customers are starting to explore how to transition from existing data warehouses into this data product economy.

This exploration and transition change the way teams work or make decisions as it helps me to position some consulting work because that's a transition that customers need to go through; data warehouse is an IT domain, but data products are a domain from the business itself, which requires consulting services.

The partner ecosystem for SAP Business Data Cloud needs to be expanded as it is currently very limited with two partners, Databricks and Snowflake, but other data platforms should be added at scale.

Performance is a limitation that SAP Business Data Cloud has right now, and until I know more about SAP with the Iceberg adoption, I will say more, but now performance is a limitation using the Delta capability.

Regarding improvements needed for SAP Business Data Cloud, I find that there is no capability to connect SAP Business Data Cloud to AWS, so a singular improvement would be to allow myself to connect to other clouds, but also the ability to bring my own SAP servers to the platform.

My advice for others looking into using SAP Business Data Cloud is to do a profound assessment on the implications of the tool and to create a thorough proof of concept of the solution.

Regarding SAP Business Data Cloud's AI capabilities, I find that its governance and security are very supportive due to the strong security features that help ensure governance of trusted, well-managed, and secure data while meeting access control requirements.

Concerning the accuracy and reliability of SAP Business Data Cloud's AI outputs, I find that they have generally been accurate and trustworthy; since the platform works from governed, known, and reliable data, the insights are usually consistent and actionable. Although we still validate important business decisions, we have found the results to be dependable and valuable overall.

SAP's AI uses our official business data effectively, making the responses more accurate and trustworthy compared to AI tools that rely on generic information; as long as the underlying data is well-managed, the insights are reliable and useful for decision-making.

For SAP Analytics Cloud, I can describe a few use cases. Most of the time I work on business best practices from business data from SAP Analytics Cloud integrated with SAP S/4HANA through Calc view or through CDS views. I have experience in retail, manufacturing, oil and gas, real estate, and public sectors.

What I appreciate about SAP Analytics Cloud is the AI features, which include interactive dashboards, drill-down capabilities, linked dimensions, and the ability to integrate more than one model in the same story. It is a platform for analytics, planning, and predictive analysis, so I can perform many activities in one platform.

SAP's AI uses my company's official data effectively through natural language processing. I can ask a question in natural language, English, related to sales revenue per month, per company, and it impacts the output, which gives me a table or chart. I can insert this chart or table in the story.

To ensure that data keeps the same meaning and relationships when it moves between different systems, I can integrate different systems not in model but through story and blending. If I have more models from different sources, I can blend all of them in one story to give one interactive dashboard.

I have used SAP Connect to integrate data with external parties or third-party platforms through OData or APIs. This integration had no negative impact and is more secure and readable for SAP Analytics Cloud, which provides secure systems and readable data.

SAP's support for AI and ML has enabled new use cases in my organization, as I have a category for predictive and support algorithms including time series, classification, and regulation in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Moving all my BW data to SAP Business Data Cloud makes my daily data operations faster and easier. I can do modeling in BW, and the data moves through import or live connection to SAP Analytics Cloud, which is faster.

I have connections between SAP and Google, specifically Google Drive for sales, but I have not integrated with Azure or any cloud other than SAP until now. Connecting SAP to Google through OData or APIs has changed the way my team manages and moves data.

I am using the integration between SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Business Data Cloud. This integration affects my data management processes through the cloud connector that connects to the database to HANA through Calc view or CDS views.

I have not used the self-service analytics features in SAP to change my data models quickly.

I think SAP will integrate Joule as soon as possible to help create AI more efficiently in storytelling.

Regarding SAP Data Product Studio, I ask what the data product is. While it already exists in SAP Business Data Cloud, I have not used it yet, but I think it is easy since everything is in one platform in SAP Business Data Cloud, Data Product, Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

On the other hand, I would like to see the features of tables in SAP Analytics Cloud improved. The tables in SAP Analytics Cloud lack many calculations and features. I have many variables and need many functions available in tables, similar to what I have in Excel. Apart from the tables, there are no other missing features that I would like to see included or enhanced.

I have been using SAP Business Data Cloud for five years.

Regarding stability, I have had no performance or stability issues with it. It performs well.

I find SAP Analytics Cloud more scalable.

My experience with technical support and customer service teams has been very good. They help me with any issues I have.

Regarding the deployment process, I find it complex. SAP requires more configurations, and it is not easy to install SAP.
