Creatio Studio Room for Improvement

Based on my six years of experience, I see that Studio Creatio is continuously improving its workflows, materials, and capabilities. I still see potential improvements in certain areas. For example, some capabilities that the system does not have need to be identified so that customers are aware of what is not possible. The system should be designed to allow customers to connect with any system seamlessly rather than just through marketplace applications. It should have the capability to connect with any other system without limitation, as in some projects, while it was able to connect with 100 other systems, there were one, two, or a few that were not compatible.
Regarding needed improvements, with respect to use cases and documentation, more comprehensive use cases and in-depth scenarios covering real business situations and solutions are definitely needed.
Mobile users are quite frustrated, so the system needs more modern features, modern user interfaces, and an independent development module for the mobile app. The current mobile app is outdated, and I cannot customize it accordingly. Something new in this area is necessary.
View full review »Improving Studio Creatio is a tough question. The AI capabilities are a little bit lacking right now. It is not reliable enough to use in everyday operations or even in the development or implementation phases. However, it is the right direction that Studio Creatio is taking right now. I would like to see the reports improved, as some of the reporting capabilities from the older interface, called Classic UI, were lost when Studio Creatio transitioned to Freedom UI.
More improvements needed would include that the pivot tables need to be back. Otherwise, the user interface is fine, it is up to date, and on par with other systems. It is actually better than some of the systems, so I do not have too much of a complaint there.
The reason I give it an eight is that sometimes when the version is upgraded, some things break, which is not good. There are some integration limitations; for instance, sometimes we use a file-sharing approach for integration with other systems, which has a limitation of ten megabytes per file by default. It can be expanded to about fifty, but it is still a limitation in some cases. Additionally, the performance in logic in BPM during data import should also improve.
As for further improvements needed for Studio Creatio that I have not mentioned yet, I would like to see performance improvements, even in everyday user experience. I would love to see the interface be quicker than it is right now.
I believe Studio Creatio is going in the right direction, but I would prefer to see a little more emphasis on system performance, especially user interface performance, and a little more emphasis on AI quality, and then we are good.

I think Studio Creatio can be improved by enhancing the documentation, perhaps offering more specific training for our AI robots, and possibly providing free training at events where companies can share their use cases in order for Studio Creatio to improve its product without us having to pay.
Regarding necessary improvements, I believe that everything is okay, though I think there could be more local contacts for support in my region of Brazil.

The downside of Studio Creatio is when it is marketed as a no-code platform, it does not support creating any website or mobile application. It is an ecosystem or environment within which a user, developer, or implementation partner has to develop process automation. It is not a drag-and-drop tool to create an application. It is a workflow automation process and enterprise-grade application where an understanding of the platform is essential to use Studio Creatio.
It is not an absolute no-code solution. There are some areas with no-code flexibilities, but for specific business use cases or workflows, an understanding of the Studio Creatio ecosystem and .NET technologies is essential.

Studio Creatio can be improved by sending reminders to the people who were sending in the tickets because sometimes the waiting for response just sits in limbo for a while, and that could be a bit annoying.
As far as changes, it would be nice to be able to use my own email rather than the company email, especially since when you are on LinkedIn, it is possible you may be looking for a job and have experience using something like Studio Creatio.

Specifically speaking, other than checking on the metrics for the contact center and ensuring that they are all aligned, you could have a workforce management tool under Studio Creatio that can be used for scheduling to make it easier instead of using different tools where agents can see their schedules and see their breaks.
I give it a seven because I still believe it is a work in progress, depending on how you are going to tailor-make it towards a certain client or business. There are still a lot of amendments that require to be done through the Studio Creatio team.
The review of Studio Creatio's AI capabilities is great. It is able to respond on time, assist, and make work easy, especially for agents. However, the one that was lacking in my case was the translation. It had to be improvised. They open another window to do the translation of language from one to translate to English. If this can also be added and considered, it will be perfect.
The accuracy and reliability of output from Studio Creatio are perfect, apart from those few that I have mentioned that should be probably considered.
It would take some time because of lagging. Everybody would have to stop doing it and maybe do it when everybody has finished their work, probably at night shift if everybody is in day shift or after business hours. That needs to be worked on.

Studio Creatio can be improved since it sometimes requires a minimum operating system memory requirement, which was an issue for me initially when installing it, and a more lightweight version would allow individuals with less hardware to work with it. The current cloud version lacks full feature availability.
For the user interface, properties sometimes get misaligned when selecting a control, and the right-hand side properties do not always yield the desired result. I would also like to see improvement in the coding support, where more examples can be provided rather than just one-word answers.

Studio Creatio can always be improved. There is good information available on the internet, and you can find a lot of tutorials and information on Studio Creatio, but it can feel confusing when searching for specific information. It can be complicated to find the answers, but if you know how it works, I think it is good.
Regarding Studio Creatio's AI capabilities, I am not very familiar with its governance and security, but it is becoming something significant. I believe the data entered into your instance will never go out, which is great. There are many developments happening with the AI, and I appreciate that too, so I think there are still many possibilities to be explored.
The accuracy and reliability of output from Studio Creatio's AI capabilities are much better than in the beginning. It took some years for it to improve. I still find it a little confusing at times, and I am not an expert, but I believe it will get easier over the years as I learn more about it. Studio Creatio will certainly improve it, so its capabilities are great.
View full review »Studio Creatio could be improved by enhancing the lessons and courses, as they are quite basic. The support team needs to handle some tasks before users begin the courses, but regarding the application itself, it performs well compared to the systems we used previously.
View full review »I think Studio Creatio can be improved by being more open source because I thought I could make modifications to Studio Creatio, have API keys to develop my own application, and consume the API keys. That is a point for improvement to be more open source for developers.
View full review »Bearing in mind I cannot fault Studio Creatio too much because I only used it for six months, I would have loved better dashboards for email campaigns, which are things that Studio Creatio already has, but perhaps in my organization we just needed that one-to-one help.
I would have appreciated some kind of directory or search system where you can see new initiatives that are happening and active on your package. For example, if you're able to do pop-ups or dynamic personalization, instead of being able to search for that, having an academy type or lookup could be helpful.

Studio Creatio can be improved through better integration with Event Hub or other integrations, such as native integration or API integration without coding.
I would prefer to improve some integrations in Studio Creatio, specifically by adding a few more blocks in business process to improve functionality with integrations with native API without any coding.

Studio Creatio could be improved with AI to help decision-makers understand context better. For instance, it would be practical to receive a message stating, 'Hey, this invoice needs to be approved. Do you approve?' If the decision-maker has any doubts, they could call a Copilot AI agent to ask, 'Hey, what do you think about this? Tell me more about this negotiation.' This could greatly improve Studio Creatio, providing security for anyone needing to approve processes without doubts.
One thing that comes to mind for improvement is to use more AI, such as creating templates or planning. I have noticed customers often start building forms or integrations without proper planning, which leads to realizations about integration purposes or critical details being overlooked after everything is connected or built. A Copilot AI could assist users in making thorough plans before building begins.
I think the learning curve for new users adopting Studio Creatio could be better facilitated with more hands-on training. An interactive approach would be beneficial as my training primarily involved videos, which were not very interactive. A more engaging training experience could diminish the learning curve for new users, but overall, it is a very good learning curve. New users can quickly get their boots on the ground.
View full review »Studio Creatio can be improved because they oversell its AI capabilities out of the box, and there are lots of configurations that need to happen; it is not readily available to use just with one click, as configurations and training must occur before it yields management results.
The reason I give it an eight is that, again, back to what I spoke to on the AI features, they are not very plug and play and are oversold as out-of-the-box capabilities that require pretty advanced training before they yield results; once they are set up, however, they are very powerful tools.
Regarding Studio Creatio's AI capabilities, I think its governance and security are good.
Regarding Studio Creatio's AI capabilities, I think its accuracy and reliability of output are very strong once it is trained, although it requires training to get there.
View full review »Studio Creatio offers sufficient capabilities. We cannot expect Studio Creatio to scale up to the level of Salesforce because Salesforce is a much more premium product. However, Studio Creatio offers more customization.
Studio Creatio is somewhat better capable than Salesforce if you want to use CRM for service management, such as customer retaining. My understanding and feedback from customers also support this view regarding the service management aspect of Studio Creatio, which is at par or better than Salesforce.
If you actually want to spend on service management, you would rather choose a service management-focused CRM such as Zendesk. Zendesk excels in service management compared to Salesforce as well.
Studio Creatio is for customers who do not have the budget of Salesforce or Zendesk and have a very fast turnaround time. You can plug in Studio Creatio there and quickly develop and deliver on short iterations however customers require.
The problem with generative AI is that everyone is experiencing a loss of identity. A tool such as Studio Creatio, which heavily marketed itself as a low-code/no-code platform, now has Claude Anthropic offerings to compete with, and there is a possibility that it can lose its identity.
There is a possibility that a random developer can use a platform such as Claude to completely develop something that Studio Creatio was offering. My personal opinion is that the low-code/no-code capabilities are at a threat. If you see their marketing, they position themselves as a low-code/no-code offering. They are a CRM, but their low-code/no-code offering is their selling point. If I can customize and build that using other generative AI products, then Studio Creatio will be at a loss. However, Studio Creatio would still be cheaper, and they have a community of developers on whom you can fall back.
For analytics, they have standard dashboard capabilities. However, they are not a BI platform, nor do they position themselves as a competitor of Tableau. Tableau is a visual analytics platform that was acquired by Salesforce to show their dashboards. Studio Creatio would not be able to compete at that level. They have their own set of bespoke dashboards, and you can customize dashboards to your liking. Of course, you can have live offerings as well. However, there is nothing remarkable about it. If you really want a BI-capable tool, it is better to acquire licenses of such products. They do not have anything remarkable to offer apart from what they have and their customization abilities.

Creatio Studio can be improved in the area of AI-assisted development, which is currently being developed and is in beta as far as I know. This enhancement will allow you to develop more quickly.

Sometimes, the cloud version provides slow responses. The documentation must be more technical. Sometimes, we need to work with massive external data. We might have 10 to 20 million lines of data that must be imported into our system. Mendix is the only product that provides such features in the market. It enables us to virtualize and work with our data. Studio Creatio should provide such features to virtualize external data.
View full review »Within Spanish group service agents, we often encounter issues with translations. When implementing solutions, we noticed that certain parts, like K2 or case text, are sometimes inaccurately translated by our local partner responsible for Spanish translations. While some translations are excellent, others can be confusing. It appears that at times, our partners might be using Google Translate, resulting in translations lacking context and not being entirely understandable.
View full review »Studio Creatio can be used as a SaaS model, however, our customers are asking for the on-premise version. Creatio needs to stabilize their marketplace. When customers share their experience with the platform, the solutions should be easily added for global usage.
Another improvement would be with integration. It is difficult to integrate particular technologies inside our customers' IT environment.

I can have several types of contacts, customers, employees, partners, and so on, and I would like to have a different view for each type of contact in the list view. Currently, there is no way to configure this. This is something I would like Creatio to improve.
It does not have the ability to run one single large process. When you run very large processes, it runs into some problems. We found a way around it by breaking it up into smaller processes.
They have limits on the number of characters allowed to run processes. You have to come with a workaround, by segregating it.
If they could make the screenshots of the steps a bit easier and more intuitive on the back-end for the administrators, similar to the way it is created for the users, and like the rest of the tool.
View full review »Studio Creatio is a new product in the market, making its lack of maturity an area of concern. From an improvement perspective, the tool requires focusing on achieving a state of maturity.
In future releases of the product, it should be made more intuitive.
HRM is an area where Studio Creatio lacks and needs to improve. The solution needs to have more customization options.
View full review »The solution does not allow extensive customization of the UI. I would like to have much more control over the UI when I build a process. Currently on the UI where the fields are placed and the layout is set in place and you cannot change it. Your experience is going to be the same throughout whatever use case that you are building from customer to customer. You can not have much control over how it looks for each customer. This is an area where they can improve on.

They can improve the business rules for defining the type and quantity of the business load. They already seem to be working on this improvement.
Integration with the social networks will be very appreciated by the companies. It will be very useful for communication between the company and customers, that is, B to C relationships. Most of the customers or users have smartphones, and they use a lot of social networks. Companies need to stay connected with the customers. They have enabled integration with WhatsApp and Telegram in recent releases, which has been very useful.
The mobile version of the solution could be improved. It's harder to customize.

My biggest concern is the lack of a multi data source on a page.
The way bpm's infrastructure works, you can only have one data source on a page. It connects to a object and you're locked in at that point. You can use virtual fields, but the problem is you can't edit - again, our company has a complex structure. If you need to connect fields from different objects, you would create it in that object and sync it.
For instance, in our sales cycle we have an object called Project - this is our outer shell, our container - then Scopes and then Opportunities. These are three different objects containing different levels of information. Now if we wanted certain functionality to work for a field from a higher level in a lower level object, we then would have to create a home for it in the Scope and the Opportunity objects.
It would be that much more powerful if we could have a multi data source linked to a single page. That would really clean up a lot of things.
I rate the solution, overall, at nine out of ten.
