Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We found the technical support to be helpful.""Provides a valuable BPMN feature."

More iGrafx Pros →

"The most valuable features are that the user experience is simple, and it's customizable.""The thing I like most about Visio is the stencils. As the product has matured over time, it comes with more stencils and objects that you can just pick out of the menu and go with.""The most valuable feature is how easy it is to use.""Good interface and good tool configuration.""It is pretty easy to use if you are looking for this type of solution.""What I like most about the solution is that It's quite easy to use.""I like that once you create what you need, you can group that, at least within that drawing, and you have access to that new stencil object or that custom object throughout that drawing.""This is a very straightforward product and I don't think that anything needs to be simplified."

Cons
"The price could be more competitive.""It would be nice to have a Spanish user interface available to us."

More iGrafx Cons →

"The solution's flexibility can be perceived as both a strength and a weakness.""The application could be lighter or it could be faster with documents.""It is a visualization tool, so database visualization is pretty static in it. They haven't moved the ERDs very well. They haven't adopted any real visualization like what you have in Hackolade for JSON or other data patterns. It has none of that. If you go onto broader patterns, you can actually label and integrate with a data set, if you want, for Visio, but it's very clunky and very difficult for me to assign that to another user. I can't assign it to a junior or a documenter. They really haven't cleaned up and made their tools simpler to use when linking to data, which is primarily what you're trying to do.""There are too many features.""When you use a BPA solution you can open an end-to-end process in one window, go down, or go up between layers to different places. You should be able to see descriptions of the steps of the process.""The application grid seems to be unreliable which makes simple tasks complicated.""Layout configuration is sometimes a little difficult to use.""I would like to see Visio become some kind of enterprise architecture, which it is not."
