"The most valuable feature of the solution is its simplicity."
"The most useful feature is endpoint security."
"The most valuable feature of Trend Micro Smart Protection is automatic scanning."
"Trend Micro has consistently been recognized as a leader for endpoint security on Gartner, which has been our top priority. Based on my personal experience, we encountered fewer ransomware attacks for Trend Micro customers in Sri Lanka."
"Trend Micro is easy to use and it has good security features."
"The solution gives users peace of mind that, form an endpoint perspective, they are protected once it is installed."
"Helps with vulnerability and patch management, making it easier to provide top-notch services to our customers."
"Trend Micro Smart Protection includes compliance features where you can establish rules against endpoint vulnerabilities and attack parameters. It offers Smart Detection, Smart Update, and sandboxing to detect and analyze suspicious files, providing a smart approach to zero-day threat detection. Trend Micro Smart Protection offers rapid response to zero-day threats with a strong team backing up the discovery process. Virtual patching is a crucial feature, effectively closing vulnerable ports and access points. Regarding web reputation services, aggregating data from multiple sources, including Trend Micro, Proofpoint, and others, helps inform threat prevention efforts and automate responses."
"The EDR console should have more extensive reporting. You shouldn't need to purchase FortiAnalyzer. It should be included in the EDR part. The security adviser cloud platform could be improved with more options for exclusive or intensive rules for devices."
"We've had a lot of false positives; things incorrectly flagged that require manual configuration to allow. Even worse, after we allow a legitimate program, it sometimes gets flagged again after an update. This has caused a lot of extra work for my team."
"The solution should address emerging threats like SQL injection."
"Once, we had an event that was locked and blocked, but information about it came to us two or three days later."
"The solution is not stable."
"The solution's installation from a central installation server could be improved because the engineers had a little bit of trouble getting it installed from a central location."
"ZTNA can improve latency."
"FortiEDR could add a separate scanning dashboard. In incident management, we prefer to remove the endpoint system from the environment and scan the system. We typically use Symantec for that, but if we want to use FortiEDR for that, then we need a scanning tab to clarify things."
"The solution’s user interface should be made more user-friendly."
"The backup speed and deduplication are the most valuable features."
"Implementation in a beta environment is necessary before rollout to the larger community."
"The solution could be more user-friendly."
"I consider the product pretty expensive, so from an improvement perspective, I would like the pricing to be better."
"Whenever we talk about reporting, I have a chance to look at the reporting, and in my opinion, it's not user-friendly."

"It is onsite. It does have its challenges in terms of scalability."
"The solution needs to improve the deployment so it aligns with the latest Microsoft patches and upgrades. It makes the deployment process lengthy and painful."
"Trend Micro Smart Protection could improve automatic scanning because sometimes it pops up when I am doing my work. It would be helpful to have a feature to have it only automatically scan when the system is on standby mode. I would be able to be more efficient with my work. Additionally, security could improve."
"Documentation-wise, they are a disaster. If you want to know something about Trend Micro, you will not find anything useful from Trend Micro themselves. You have to basically dig some blog, or you need to seek some expert to help you understand what they are offering. I have never seen such a good product with such disastrous documentation. Feature-wise, almost all vendors are providing the same features, but it is all about the integration. For example, Trend Micro is promoting their endpoint protection suite, but they never mention about the integration that they are offering with their EDR solution. They are treating each product as a separate island, and you don't know much about their integration. It would be good if they can focus on integration."
"We found an issue on the server-side. Sometimes, it slows down the servers if you install it on the SQL."
"I've not explored all of the features up to now. I still need to see all of the features implemented first to be able to see if anything is missing. However, as of right now, it's working very well for us."
"This product would be improved if it had more monitoring capabilities so that it could stop threats before they break into the network and damage it."
"The web filtering could be improved."
