Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The product detects and blocks threats and is more proactive than firewalls.""The features that I have found most valuable are the ability to customize it and to reduce its size. It lets you run in a very small window in terms of memory and resources on legacy cash registers.""Exceptions are easy to create and the interface is easy to follow with a nice appearance.""This is stable and scalable.""It is very easy to set up. I would rate my experience with the initial setup a ten out of ten, with ten being very easy to set up.""The main thing is that I feel safe. Because the processes that have been used to get a handle on the attackers are much better than other competitors""Fortinet is very user-friendly for customers.""I like FortiClient EMS. FortiEDR has a lot of great features like lockdown mode, remote wipes, and encryption. I can set malware outbreak policies and controls for detecting abnormalities. You can also simulate phishing attacks."

"It never fails. Bitdefender always catches all of the viruses that have been detected on customer sites.""I find Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus to be a pretty good solution for the mid-level market, specifically for organizations with up to two hundred fifty users. I like that it is an averagely priced solution. It also has a straightforward installation that can be completed within three to five minutes. Its technical support is also good enough.""The best thing about Bitdefender is that it has got top-notch features and it is not tied to specific countries like some other antivirus tools.""Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus is highly stable."

More Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus Pros →

"One of the good features is the provider's Faulting capability. If any of our systems detect malware, we can check the behavior of the malware by sending it to Kaspersky's sandbox environment. This helps us assess how destructive the malware is. After analyzing it, we can create use cases and protection measures based on that behavior. So, this is the best feature of Kaspersky.""Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""Kaspersky EDR offers automated response capabilities, enhancing efficiency by enabling quick investigation and response to potential threats on Android devices.""We have a concept of working from home. Most endpoints are not in the domain. It is our first line of defense. While we had Kaspersky deployed, it gave good insight into the upcoming challenge or threat.""The tool's performance and prevention are amazing.""It is a stable solution...It is a very scalable solution.""The most valuable aspect of the product is its consolidated features.""One of the most valuable aspects of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions is their ability to detect and respond to spam and viruses in their early stages."

Cons
"The solution's installation from a central installation server could be improved because the engineers had a little bit of trouble getting it installed from a central location.""I think cloud security and SASE are areas of concern in the product where improvements are required. The tool's cloud version has to be improved in terms of the security it offers.""The SIEM could be improved.""I would like the solution to extend beyond endpoint protection and include other attack surfaces such as other network components.""The support needs improvement.""The solution should address emerging threats like SQL injection.""We'd like to see more one-to-one product presentations for the distribution channels.""They can include the automation for the realtime updates. We have a network infrastructure with remote sites. Whenever they send updates, they are not automated. We have to go into the console and push those updates. I wish it was more automated. The update file is currently around 31 MB. It could be smaller."

More Fortinet FortiEDR Cons →

"Adding a feature like Data Loss Prevention would be beneficial.""The mobile version needs improvement.""The solution seems to be pretty amateur for an EDR solution, and it should be more in sync in terms of features, with solutions such as FireEye and SentinelOne."

More Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus Cons →

"One of the main areas where the tool could improve is its integration capabilities. For example, I find it challenging to integrate it with other solutions. It would be helpful if the tool could make it more open to integration with other tools.""Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response is expensive. It should improve its stability.""The main issue was compatibility with the cloud itself. The CPU usage immediately spiked, causing the machines to hang and sometimes even forcing server or computer restarts.""Kaspersky EDR could be improved by adding network detection capabilities to enhance convenience and security.""There is room for improvement in its user interface.""I want to be able to use the product as a patch management tool for my endpoints since it is an area that is not working effectively for me.""Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response needs vast resources on the central node. Not all maintenance tasks are in the GUI, so we often use commands. The lack of documentation for these processes means we frequently reach out to support, open tickets, and run complex CLI commands. It's not the most straightforward process. It should also improve stability.""There are certain shortcomings with the UI of the solution. The UI is not at all user-friendly."

    Reviews from Real Users

Below are some reviews and helpful feedback written by Fortinet FortiEDR users.

An Owner at a security firm says, "The features that I have found most valuable are the ability to customize it and to reduce its size. It lets you run in a very small window in terms of memory and resources on legacy cash registers. The customer has literally about 800 cash registers. That was the use case for Fortinet FortiEDR - to get that down into a tiny space. The only way to do that was to use this product because it had that ability to unbundle services that were a surplus.”

Chandan M., Chief Technical Officer at Provision Technologies LLP, mentions, “The ease of deployment and configuration is valuable. It's very easy compared to other vendors like Sophos. Sophos' configuration is complex. Fortinet is a lot easier to understand. You don't need a lot of admin knowledge to do the configuration.” He also adds, “The security is also very good and the firewall response is good.”

Harpreet S., Information Technology Support Specialist at Chemtrade Logistics, explains, "It notifies us if there's any suspicious file on any PC. If any execution or similar kind of thing is happening, it just alerts us. It doesn't only alert. It also blocks the execution until we allow it. We check whether the execution is legitimate or not, and then approve it or keep it blocked. This gives us a little bit of control over this mechanism. Fortinet FortiEDR is also very straightforward and easy to maintain."

DeAndre V., Senior Network Administrator at a financial services firm, states, “The dashboard is easy to follow and use. The deployment and uninstalling were easy. I like the detailed information about the path of a file that might be suspicious. Being able to check that out was easy to follow. Exceptions are easy to create and the interface is easy to follow with a nice appearance.

GravityZone Ultra Plus extends the endpoint-based threat detection capabilities of a traditional EDR by incorporating network incidents (XDR) to successfully counter advanced threats no matter where they emerge in the infrastructure: on the Endpoints, in the Network or in the Cloud.

Cyberattacks are becoming more sophisticated and capable of bypassing existing security measures. Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Expert provides comprehensive visibility across all endpoints on your corporate network and delivers superior defenses, automating routine EDR tasks and enabling the Analyst to speedily hunt out, prioritize, investigate and neutralize complex threats and APT-like attacks. Kaspersky EDR Expert uses a single agent that can be managed both from a cloud-based single management platform and from an offline console in air-gapped environments, leveraging threat intelligence and incorporating customizable detections.
