Azure Container Registry Reviews

We use Azure Container Registry to store our container images and the solution that we build for automation.

Azure Container Registry is an easy-to-install, easy-to-configure, and easy-to-deploy solution. The solution requires minimal overhead. To manage our own Azure Container Registry, we go to Azure, create a registry for us, and start publishing the images.

The way Azure RBAC is configured, our oldest access control, allows us to leverage that so that no one can push it, and we can use it in our solution. I used Azure Container Registry with my Azure Batch job to run the tagging solution.

I have been using Azure Container Registry for six months.

I rate Azure Container Registry ten out of ten for stability.

It is good enough to store all the images we need, and we can create as many container registries as we need.

I rate Azure Container Registry ten out of ten for scalability.

The solution's initial setup is easy. On a scale from one to ten, where one is easy and ten is difficult, I rate the solution a one out of ten for the ease of its initial setup.

You need to know how containers and docker images work when interacting with and installing Azure Container Registry.

Azure Container Registry can be deployed within two to three minutes.

I would recommend Azure Container Registry to other users because it has good security features.

Overall, I rate Azure Container Registry a nine out of ten.

We use this solution to build, deploy and manage our container registry within a single integrated tool.

This product allows us to have a single point of deployment for full projects, making tasks quicker and easier to manage.

We like the fact that this is a secure solution, that employs a token-based system, which can be used to manage all the applications under this product.

We have found that it is sometimes difficult to pull images from the host application.

We have been working with this solution for two years.

We have found this to be a very stable solution.

This is a very easily scalable solution in our experience.

The initial setup of this solution is very easy and straightforward.

We implemented this solution using our in-house team, who also carry out our  client implementations.

The enterprise license for this solution is quite expensive compared with other solutions on the market.

I mainly use Container Registry to containerize applications and ship/deploy them.

The security, dashboards, and monitoring system could be improved.

We use it for some specific machine learning models to take advantage of the elasticity of the containers. This is the main use of containers.

Around 80% of our implementation is on the public cloud, but in some cases, we use a hybrid model. Our clients are large businesses.

The portability and elasticity features are the most valuable. 

It should be easier to use. It can have more graphical interfaces to manage containers. At present, the handling or management of the containers is very basic.

I have been using Azure Container Registry for two years.

We get great support from Microsoft. I would rate them a ten out of ten.

The initial setup was complex. The deployment took two or three days because it involved infrastructure and development.

I would advise taking the time to go through the documentation before starting to use this solution. It is important to gain knowledge before you start using it.

I work for a logistics business, so we have a few applications and we apply them to Azure. We pull the codes, stop at the Docker images, and then we push it to the Container for tracking.

Implementation needs improvement. We have a lot of open, online sources. Doing a deployment is easy for us. The only issue is when we have VPN connections and we try to pull the images from Container images to the local Dockers, it slows down.

The images are slow when we have a VPN setup. 

I have been using Azure Container Registry for three years. 

It's hard for us to do a customer partition piece update. The indexing always crashes. 

Pricing is reasonable.

I would rate Azure Container Registry an eight out of ten. The setup should be simplified.
