We are consultants and integrators using Juniper vSRX for a range of shipping companies, which can be both small and large. We implement it behind one firewall and in front of multiple other firewalls.

It is very useful for those moving to the cloud or using cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure. These types of customers always prefer virtual firewall services.

Juniper is creating Layer Three IP VPN tunnels connecting branch sites and offices together on their separate networks. Our appliances would serve as the VPN termination point, allowing them to route their traffic. If you take a company with geographically diverse offices across a particular area and want to link them together, IP VPN is the way to go, and vSRX is what we use to terminate those VPN connections.

We use the product to protect our server from external threats.

We use the solution as a site-to-site VPN gateway.

Our primary use case for this solution is for VPN.

It's where we face some of our IPsec tunnels.

We use the solution for the VPN provider.

The software is good. It's similar to when we used LAN and Cisco routers and firewalls in the past. We were able to scale. Juniper is better than Cisco for management.

I primarily use the solution for experimentation. I just wanted to create a site to site VPN. I was hoping that you can make the SRX like a hub, so if I had a site here and then I had a new site, I could just create another VPN from that new site to the virtual X in the cloud. I don't know if it works like that. I'm skeptical if it can. Maybe there is a roundabout with the actual Azure AWS, however, I'm not so sure about that part. That's why I'm learning about Azure, and how that works in connecting to the cloud.

We did a project for the government. We deployed the Juniper Firewall on their premises. The solution is used for the security purpose of client infrastructure security. There are three types of zones: zone-to-zone-based policy, IPS intrusion, and other policies implemented there.

We are a solution provider and the vSRX is something that we have included in one of the solutions that we sell to our customers for cyber security protection. Our initial deployment was on-premises at one of our customer's sites.

We were so happy with vSRX that we expanded its usage. We design and prepare solutions for ships, and we have included the vSRX as part of our cyber security solution for them. It is still an on-premises deployment, although the premises is a vessel.

This product is primarily used for its UTM functionality. We collect all of the logs that the UTM produces onboard each ship and bring them onshore. At that point, we reevaluate them. We give full accessibility to the customers, allowing them to see what the UTM is doing on their ships.

It is deployed on the customer site, and we manage the firewalls on this side. It's a very useful solution. It is used on-premise at the customer site. It is useful for management, and the configuration is rather easy, as well.

We primarily use the solution as a firewall for security purposes in order to keep our organization safe.

We use Juniper vSRX to provide security for our customers and our users.

My primary use case for Juniper is to allow traffic for each team to reach servers on our other sites. I allow some source addresses to reach some destination addresses with some applications with HTTP, HTTPS, and SSH, to reach the service for each team.

The primary use case of this solution is to load traffic for our RH team so that they can connect to our servers on our other sites.

My company is an IAP so we use the solution for virtual security to segregate work.

I use the solution for network authentication, what you use while accessing the network. In general, controlling the traffic going inside the enterprise and off it.

I primarily use it as a firewall for our customers. It's much faster to deploy a power source. If you need to deploy a firewall in the cloud of software, it's much easier and much faster than deploying the office firewall in a rush. That's our primary usage, fast deployment of firewalls for customers.

Our primary use case for the Juniper vSRX solution is protection. We use it for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).

On the cloud, we use it to test functionality.

Our company is in a proof of concept mode with this product. We have not selected it yet.

One of Juniper vSRX's most valuable features is its integration with safety applications. It keeps the software secure from developers without relying on third-party solutions.

We use the solution to block unwanted sites on our internal platform.
