We are using Pure Storage FlashArray for all of our data. We use the deduplication feature and it is working well.

The most valuable features in Pure Storage FlashArray are deduplication and active cluster.

The solution could improve by having a multi-tenant feature.

I have been Pure Storage FlashArray for approximately two years.

Pure Storage FlashArray is very stable.

We have not had an issue with the scalability of Pure Storage FlashArray.

We plan to increase the usage of this solution.

The support has been very good from Pure Storage FlashArray.

The solution is simple to implement. It's a new kind of storage, it is very easy to use. It is similar to NetApp, it is straightforward.

We purchased a license to use this solution and we pay for the storage ourselves.

It is a very good product.

We are a solution provider and the Pure Storage FlashArray is one of the products that we implement for our customers. I have installed three of them in the past month.

The primary use case for this product is high-performance storage.

This is the best all-flash storage array on the market. They were the first brand that provided access directly from CPU to memory to disk.

This product has only two active controllers, whereas other solutions can have more. This is something that needs to improve.

The Pure Storage FlashArray is very stable.

This is a scalable product but not as much as the Infinidat InfiniBox. That solution is more expandable.

I have approximately 20 years of experience with enterprise solutions. These include various hyper-converged systems, all-flash storage systems, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions for data assurance.

My experience is with products from a lot of different vendors. These include IBM, Dell EMC, Pure, Infinidat, and others.

The best features come included without any additional cost.

The InfiniBox is more expandable than Pure FlashArray. InfiniBox is more for big data than the Pure product.

The suitability of this solution depends on the customer's environment. Depending on the use case, we propose the right product. Pure Storage is not better than InfiniBox and InfiniBox is not better than Pure Storage.

In comparing products, I would rate Pure FlashArray an eight out of ten, InfiniBox a seven out of ten, Dell EMC products receive a six out of ten, and all of the other all-flash storage systems that I have experience with would be rated a five out of ten.

With PowerMax, there is a big difference in cost when you start adding more features.

The Pure Storage solution has only two active controllers and one passive controller. InfiniBox has three active controllers, and PowerMax can have up to six active storage controllers.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

The most valuable feature is replication.

Areas for improvement would be the financial operations. In the next release, I would like to see a NAS protocol included.

I've been working with this solution for two years.

This is a very stable solution.

Technical support is very good.

There are some additional costs.

I would rate this solution as ten out of ten.

FlashArray is our main repository for all our VMware.

We've been using FlashArray's snapshot for backups. Their replication across sites and response time are also excellent.

When we were doing some tests, we found that there was an I/O freeze when they were switching the controller.

I've been using FlashArray for a year and a half.

For our needs, the stability was very good. 

The scalability was also very good.

The installation was pretty straightforward.

I would rate Pure Storage FlashArray eight out of 10.

The all-flash disc is the most valuable feature of this solution.

The price should be lower.

Pure Storage FlashArray is a stable solution.

My main point of contact has been the reseller.

The reseller was able to assist us.

The pricing is rather costly when compared to similar solutions.

There are no fees for licensing. The hardware is paid for only once.

I would rate Pure Storage FlashArray an eight out of ten.

We are satisfied with the product. It is very good.

There is definitely room for improvement.

Overall, the solution is pretty good, although it does have certain gaps. There are many features which need to be added, particularly on the replication side. 

We have been using Pure Storage FlashArray for around three years.

So far, the solution has proven itself to be stable. 

The solution is very scalable.

The technical support is very good.

Prior to going with Pure Storage FlashArray, we were using the range of all of the Dell EMC products.

While all these products have their own uses, Pure Storage FlashArray is in a market of its own. 

The initial setup was straightforward.

It takes under two hours to accomplish. 

The pricing is reasonable.

The solution is definitely storage-centric and this it accomplishes very well.

I use the solution in my own company.

The solution is both cloud- and on-premises based. 

While I don't actually use the solution myself, as I provide services for and commission it for the customer, I have probably done this 50 times over so far. 

I definitely recommend the solution. It's very good. It does what it advertises and this very well.

As Pure Storage FlashArray is purpose-built, I would rate it as a ten out of ten. 

We primarily use the solution for storage. 

The administration is very easy and quite minimal.

The performance is very good.

The installation is pretty straightforward. 

Technical support is good.

Beyond a certain amount of petabytes, you have to have a separate system. Basically, it's not infinitely scalable. 

We've been using the solution in two places. We have used it in Washington for six months and London for six months as well. 

We have found the solution to be stable. We've not had any performance issues and not have any stability issues with it. The performance is good. there are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable. 

The solution is scalable to an extent. Its deduplication ratio is quite good. You don't actually always need the full amount of physical storage, as opposed to the deduplicating amount of space.

Its scalability beyond a certain amount of petabytes makes it so that it is a separate system if you scale to that much storage. If you're a normal enterprise where you don't scale that much, it's fine. The X90 goes beyond a certain amount, and you have to have a new system that works as a separate system.

Across two locations, we have about 800 people. 

From the feedback I've gotten, for the most part, the technical support has been quite good. They know their product quite well and they've been quite responsive. We are satisfied with the support.

We previously used EMC VNX.

The solution is pretty straightforward. It's not too complex or difficult. 

I haven't personally deployed it, however, from the team's feedback, they had very little issues with regards to the deployment and bringing it up and then setting up. The deployment was within days or a week at a maximum. That was for the migration time. For migrating from the old storage to new, it might take a while, however, in terms of getting it up and running, it was days. It didn't take that long at all.

It's easy enough that the normal system administrators can take care of the storage. There's no one dedicated to managing the storage and it's not that complicated that it needs someone dedicated just to manage it all.

You do have a license that is required and you also have to pay for support.

The license we have is not a monthly subscription model.

For London and Washington, we had EMC VNX. At the time we were transitioning from the EMC to a mid-tier flash storage, and they didn't have anything in the market. We did look at others. We looked at the Nimble from HPE. When we were looking to purchase, EMC just came out with EMC FlashSystem. We didn't get to the IBM FlashSystem. 

We're a customer and an end-user.

We are using the latest version of the solution at this time. 

I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten.

I would recommend the solution to other users and companies. 

I use the solution for the storage of our database and to run some algorithms to analyze data we retrieve from the internet.

I use all the features of this solution and I find them to be easy to use and functional, such as the compression and capacity to expand.

Pure Storage FlashArray could improve by being more secure.

I am very satisfied with this solution and I would recommend it to others.

We use Pure Storage FlashArray in a couple of backup products. Our DDP offerings, data platform offerings, is where we use Veritas with Pure Storage FlashArray. Then, we use the Pure Azure Service model with the secure multi-tenancy features. Pure Storage FlashArray can be managed centrally.

In individual file cases where most customers were looking for performance-based, minimum latency applications, we have deployed Pure Storage FlashArray.

The integration and migration features have been really good.

We're getting good performance, and the compression ratio is also very good in Pure Storage FlashArray.

It has an Evergreen model and always maintains the controllers, so the controllers never let you down.

I think replication is one area that still needs improvement. Earlier, Pure Storage FlashArray only had IP-based replication. There was no API-based replication, but they have enhanced the feature now. However, they need to work on API replication for C-type of arrays.

It would be good if Pure Storage FlashArray gave a library-type access.

Maybe, small box releases could be utilized for backup purposes such as Data Domain offered by other vendors.

I've been using Pure Storage FlashArray for the last two and a half years.

We have deployed it both on-premises and on hybrid cloud environments.

As for stability, Pure Storage FlashArray is definitely a reliable solution.

It can be easily scaled. I work with over 500 customers who use this solution.

The technical support is awesome, and there's a lot of documentation available online.

The initial setup is very easy.

My organization has a yearly license, but I believe that Pure Storage FlashArray has capacity-based licenses as well. I'm definitely happy with the pricing.

I think with other products, there are issues with support systems and warranty features. Even the maintenance cost can be very high. In comparison to those products, Pure Storage FlashArray is very good.

Overall, Pure Storage FlashArray has never let us down in front of customers so far, and I would rate this solution at eight on a scale from one to ten.

We use this solution to assist with our on-premise database workloads; In conjunction with our Oracle database and SQL server database.

Within our organization, there are roughly four people using this solution.

Pure Storage has been of great value to us as it provides us with a lot of great tools, especially for monitoring and capacity planning.

Also, Pure Storage is extremely user-friendly. 

The solution itself is pretty solid. Perhaps the time available for selecting upgrades or for scheduling things could be improved. On a couple of occasions, the waiting time for an upgrade has been pretty substantial. 

In the next release, I would like for them to support file systems on the lower-end models, like the X-10 or X-20. 

Pure Storage is extremely reliable — it's never failed.

I have increased the capacity during working hours with no impact on production at all.

Their technical support is excellent. Once we raise a ticket, they respond very quickly. Even better, their support is proactive. In most cases, they are the ones contacting us, not the other way around.

The initial setup was extremely simple. It takes about half an hour to get it up and running. 

Our licensing is on a yearly basis. They have a standardized fee; it's been the same price for 10 years straight. I am happy with the price — I think it's good.

I trust them — their reputation is outstanding. Pure Storage is an amazing solution. I would totally recommend this technology. Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I would give Pure Storage a rating of ten.
