CDW Corporation, headquartered in Vernon Hills, Illinois, is a provider of technology products and services for business, government and education. The company has a secondary division known as CDW-G, devoted solely to United States governmental purchasers, such as from schools, universities, cities, and the state and federal government. CDW was originally incorporated as "MPK Computing" by its founding member Michael Krasny, who currently ranks on Fortune magazine's list of the wealthiest Americans. It later became Computer Discount Warehouse and then simply CDW.
Cisco Systems, Inc. is an American multinational technology company headquartered in San Jose, California, that designs, manufactures, and sells networking equipment. Cisco is the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, and it supports, manages and operates business systems for various and major third parties. Cisco Systems was founded in December 1984 by Leonard Bosack, who was in charge of the Stanford University computer science (CS) department's computers, and Sandy Lerner, who managed the Graduate School of Business' computers.
