Recruitment Lead at Muse Consultancy Services
Easy to deploy and parses the resumes, but needs better automation and documentation
Pros and Cons
- "The CV parsing feature is the most valuable. It can parse resumes for the database. It is easy to deploy, and it is also stable and scalable. Its support is also good."
- "Its automation is currently complicated, and it could be better. The biggest problem is that their instructions, videos, and documentation are terrible. These should be improved. I would like to see an email tracking feature and an option to find email addresses and leads."

I would like to see an email tracking feature and an option to find email addresses and leads.

I have been using this solution for one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is scalable. You can add as many users as you need. There isn't any limit.
How are customer service and support?
I have contacted them many times. They are good, helpful, responsive, and efficient, but the documentation and videos are terrible.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used other solutions in the past. Zoho has more advantages.
How was the initial setup?
It is pretty straightforward. It took an hour to be deployed.
What about the implementation team?
I implemented it myself. It doesn't require any maintenance.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It is in the middle price range. Everything is included in the price.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend this solution to others. I would advise others to not customize it too much.
I would rate Zoho Recruit a seven out of ten.

Recruiter at a recruiting/HR firm with 1-10 employees
Great support with good stability and fair pricing
Pros and Cons
- "The pricing seems to be very reasonable."
- "There's a bit of a learning curve."
What is our primary use case?
I primarily used the solution for finding candidates or finding clients. Basically, I just used it as a normal CRM.
How has it helped my organization?
The solution improved my organization the way any CRM solution does. It helped organize everything.
What is most valuable?
What I liked about it, was mostly the support you could get. If you had some issues, you'd call them, and they'd call you back, and they stay on the line as long as you need them to in order to resolve any issues. I'll use Zoho again at some point simply due to this aspect.
The solution is pretty simple to use.
The pricing seems to be very reasonable.
The stability never gave me any issues.
What needs improvement?
There's a bit of a learning curve. Ultimately, I knew another solution better and I didn't have the bandwidth to learn another completely new system. That said, if I gave myself three weeks to learn it, I probably would have been fine.
For how long have I used the solution?
I only used the solution for something like 40 or 60 days It was only for a trial run. I don't have too much experience with it. I used it in the last year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability is very good. There are no bugs and glitches that I can recall. It didn't crash or freeze. It was very reliable, and pretty much issue-free.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I'm just a one-man shop. I didn't really test the scalability.
How are customer service and technical support?
The technical support is amazing. They're really great at what they do and I was very satisfied with them. They call you back very quickly and stay on the phone with you until the issue is resolved.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I've moved to Crelate. They're both great. The only reason I went with Crelate, is due to my learning curve. I had been using it for two and a half years. I probably paid twice as much, however, due to the learning curve, I didn't want to have to learn anything over again. If I had more time, if I had to do it over again, I probably would've stuck with Zoho.
I used to use Oracle, and I found it to be very difficult. I've also used Salesforce in the past. Both of these products were used when I was with different companies.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I primarily used the free version of Zoho when I did use the solution. I basically just used it to give it a trial run. That said, I recall the pricing being very reasonable. It's not overly expensive.
What other advice do I have?
I'm a pretty small company. I'm basically just a one-man shop.
When I was trying the solution, I was using the latest version.
I'd recommend the solution to other organizations. It's pretty great. Overall, I would rate the solution nine out of ten. If I had to do it all over again, I would have chosen to implement this product.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud

Senior Project Manager / RPA Architect at Royal Cyber Inc.
Mobile application access is excellent, but the reporting is not flexible enough
What is our primary use case?
- Simple to use, and a comprehensive enough recruitment management tool
- Easy to acquire and cost-effective to use
- Can cover multiple teams, regions, and skills.
How has it helped my organization?
The reporting is not flexible enough. There are issues in moving a selected/hired recruit from Zoho Recruit to Zoho HR, i.e., when a person is a candidate, he does not have a company's official email address. When you hire him, you want to move the same candidate to employee but want his new address on the organization's domain to represent him. This change is not possible.
What is most valuable?
- Integration features with Zapier, G Suite, and other Zoho applications are a plus.
- Mobile application access is excellent.
What needs improvement?
I would like to see some off-the-shelf reports and better flexibility in designing reports. The pivot chart type reporting available is not only too technical for a common user, but even for a technical user. It is not very useful in the absence of the knowledge and structure of the backend database.
