Radware DDoS can reduce our bandwidth and provide the required performance. Bandwidth compression and all other features are available. SSL encryption, decryption, and offloading are all features we are using, and they provide the benefit of reducing the workload on the server. The server will perform related applications and will not have to do other tasks like DDoS protection, SSL encryption, decryption, or compression. Everything is handled by Radware only. Rather than the requirement of the server being increased two to ten or fifteen fold, with four to five servers, it will properly optimize, and we are getting proper performance.

From the features perspective, the best features in Radware DDoS include SSL onloading and offloading, compression, and the proxy feature. The reverse proxy we are using is a great feature. The response time is excellent. We are getting responses in two to three milliseconds, so performance-wise, it is excellent.

Radware DDoS has reduced my need for additional infrastructure investment due to DDoS threats. We have invested in all the products in data center, disaster recovery, and far disaster recovery sites. For the cloud, we have also purchased Web Application Firewall in the cloud.

It provides protection for network applications and infrastructure level, and the best part is the behavioral-based detection that Radware provides us, along with real-time signature creation. We also have some applications where we have botnets running, and it provides protection against them. 

Web DDoS targets the application layer, which is layer seven of the OSI model. For that, we focus on the Web DDoS technique for bot-based attacks because we have many applications where bots are running. We also face many random URL attacks every day, and it protects against malicious or suspicious random URL attacks.

It ensures both security and performance. It achieves this by learning behavior patterns and providing protection without blocking normal traffic. These are some of the features I am particularly satisfied with in this product.

Radware DDoS is very useful for us in protecting from many attacks, particularly flood attacks and SYN flood attacks, which we deal with in the banking environment. When people are trying to access our systems and attempting to hack, they send continuous pings and flood our systems, and we are using Radware DDoS for that purpose.

What I appreciate about Radware DDoS is that it is very easy to use. We are configuring new rules on Radware DDoS by directly going to the Radware cloud firewall and writing new rules for bypassing and blocking. We use it for geo-based blocking as well, blocking access for users from countries such as China or Japan if we do not want to give them access. We are configuring the objects and implementing them on the security rules, and it is interesting and user-friendly. It is easier for us to handle the access part and any configurations.

My experience with Radware DDoS's behavior-based detection technology in terms of real-time attack detection and minimizing false positives is positive. It provides granular control where you can configure per hour or per day for different threats. Its layer seven cloud firewall protects against outsider threats, and it is very effective in that aspect.

Radware DDoS response times after an attack are quick, and we receive alerts within seconds of a flood attack happening.

The average time for Radware DDoS to detect an incident is only milliseconds, as even a delay of ten seconds is significant in networking.

I see measurable benefits from Radware DDoS in terms of efficiency improvement, particularly in the banking environment where many flood and TCP attacks are happening. It serves as one of the best solutions against the current cyber attack trends.

The most valuable features I have found include sourcing geo information to determine where the DDoS queries are coming from, and then assisting with reporting to management and senior management. The technical information is great, and converting that into what is being targeted by the DDoS and from where is very helpful.

My experience with Radware DDoS behavior-based detection technology in terms of real-time attack detection and minimizing false positives helps from a technical perspective to get the information and then conduct deeper analysis. The behavior analysis around company announcements, whether it is a retailer or a bank, helps to see how the increase in attacks happens around certain keywords, especially if it is a financial announcement.

The best thing about Radware DDoS for me is that the solution is very accurate. The information and the different types of graphics and data are very important. It is easy to operate and to understand the solution in my case. I had the opportunity to work with other types of solutions, Cloudflare, for example, and Forti DDoS, which is another solution for Fortinet specific to DDoS attacks. Radware is very easy to use. In fact, I had the opportunity to finish many courses for this type of technology.

Radware released a new solution specific to HTTP or Layer 7, and I find this solution very interesting. I try to know more about this specific solution because nowadays many types of attacks are not only Layer 4 or Layer 3 but also application-layer attacks. This solution is very important for me because it aims to understand the traffic, the different protocols, the thresholds for specific applications, and I try to understand the correct behavior. In order to do this, I aim to mitigate different types of attacks. This solution is a significant win compared to other vendors because it tries to understand the traffic and the behavior of the traffic, and it utilizes intelligence or machine learning to mitigate false positives, which is highly customized for different types of customers.

It is very interesting how Radware DDoS works because it is necessary to understand how different types of traffic operate. It is necessary to understand how DNS works. DNS, the domain name system, requires understanding the different queries. The solution for specific DefensePro is very interesting because I can configure the queries and the different types of queries of DNS. This solution permits me to configure and protect the DNS service for different companies. This customization is very easy to implement in order to protect the DNS solution.

The best features of Radware DDoS are their use of DefensePro and DefenseFlow to automatically block detected threats. Normally, it automatically registers malicious behavior and filters those attacks out. Another feature I appreciate is the portal where I'm able to see how Radware DDoS has helped the company.

The specific features of Radware DDoS help my team day-to-day because the auto-detection and mitigation are really important. Attacks are automatically detected and mitigated, which means less hands-on work and it takes the pressure off. When we run into any other issues, the support is available, and it provides effective protection. It didn't take long to implement into our network, and the support is really good.

Radware DDoS has impacted my organization positively by providing robust DDoS protection. It offers excellent security and support, and it's an effective solution. It's there detecting attacks and mitigating them, which has allowed us to concentrate on other areas.

The impact of Radware DDoS on my team's workload and efficiency is positive because we don't have to have too many eyes on one thing. With the DDoS mitigation in place and automatic registering, it helps with that. The support from Radware puts less pressure on us to fix things on our own, and it has dropped the workload quite a bit.

The better capability of this device is its machine learning capability, as it can create its own signatures on zero-day attacks.

Radware DDoS's behavior-based detection technology is the best thing I have. I do not need to worry about any new forms of attack that are not pre-configured for filtering because it can create its own signatures based on the quota values I set for each protocol. A higher filter mode is stricter, but in low mode, it works fine. Low and medium modes work well.

I thought that it would be much more work than it turned out to be at the end of the day because Radware has honeypot functionality that automatically blocks things they discover, and for our case, it blocks approximately 80% of the attacks or possible attacks. Automation is the best feature.

Regarding time and resource savings, it is difficult to say because with security, the answer depends on perspective. I would estimate it saves approximately 50% of resources, placing it in the middle.

I consider the best features that Radware DDoS offers to be the protection, including SSL protection, the creation of dynamic signatures automatically during attacks, inspection and mitigation of HTTPS and SSL attacks, and integration with the router to divert all the traffic and block malicious traffic.

I would like to add that the always-on protection and activation based on an attack threshold is an especially innovative feature.

The HTTP Layer 7 protection works effectively as the signatures are updated on a daily basis and automated from the Radware cloud. Zero-day protection happens automatically because the initial steps only require us to create the policy for filtering, but after that, it continuously does its job without any manual intervention.

The zero-day attack signatures for new types of attack threats and vulnerabilities are directly taken from the cloud and blocked. For DC network flow, the fast layer DDoS attack itself is removed from the entry point from the ISP side only. After that, the traffic lands with DDoS, coming from my perimeter firewall, providing another layer of filter and protection. After my perimeter firewall, the traffic goes to my anti-APT, where we perform another level of protection or filtering for DDoS.

What I like most about Radware DDoS is a favorite feature that we call a pipe. That is the clean traffic that they guarantee towards our company, our bank. The clean traffic is actually the favorite feature that we have, and that is one of the reasons why we went with Radware instead of other solutions. I also appreciate their responsiveness because we were having some troubles initially to establish the whole traffic and routes. They were very responsive to that and helped us a lot. They essentially did the whole routing traffic and everything by themselves because we did not have engineers with experience in internet routing traffic.

Radware has been effective at mitigating advanced DDoS threats, such as Burst and DNS attacks. There were several attacks that I was not even aware of. That is actually the best scenario because I did not know that I was attacked, and that demonstrates how effective they are. I think the best answer is when you are not even aware that you are under attack.

Radware DDoS Protection Service is valued for its multi-layered defense protection, always-on and on-demand service, zero-day protection with adaptive behavioral-based mitigation, DNS and infrastructure protection, and SSL attack mitigation. The solution's multi-layer protection covers volumetric, protocol-based, and application layer attacks.

They offer a very effective response against DNS attacks. 

Regarding behavior-based detection technology, in terms of real-time detection, it has been able to reduce false positives. We have pretty good experience with them. The geolocation is pretty good for an organization such as ours. We can block anything from certain regions, like North Korea or China, etc, cetera. It works alongside machine learning. They can update policies globally in less than ten seconds, which really helps with false positives.

During a DDoS attack, it ensures legitimate users are not affected. We're working on a hybrid solution, so we have Defence Pro devices on our side and unlimited mitigation capabilities on the cloud. 

In my experience, the best features Radware DDoS offers include the ability to mitigate DDoS attacks such as TCP and SYN flood attacks; we can also mitigate UDP flood attacks, and while using TCP, it can verify the client and many other aspects, being implementable on Layer 7 for more granular information such as user-agent, which is possible if we import the private key of the particular service.

Out of all those features, the one that had the biggest impact for my team was the Layer 3 and Layer 4 DDoS implementation because it was more effective for us; we did not want to have decryption on the first layer of defense as it would introduce latency for our applications.

Radware DDoS has positively impacted my organization by sorting unwanted traffic, specifically malicious traffic targeting the applications, and it has taken the burden off the perimeter firewall during incidents.

For one particular incident, I believe that more than two million requests came through, and I think over twenty million requests were mitigated at the Radware DDoS level.

The best feature is the auto mitigation of the DefensePro solution. It automatically begins mitigation in milliseconds when an attack is detected. 

During high-volume attacks, such as those during the Christmas and New Year periods, the solution protected our network perfectly, without any disturbance to our real-time users. It is really reliable. 

We use the SecOps center to manage all the policies being created. All of our devices are managed from that console.

When it comes to user experience, the GUI is outstanding. The CLI interface is also amazing because it gives us a proper set of commands. When there is a small difference in the command, it doesn't transfer, which is absolutely amazing. It somehow neglects any error in the investigation or troubleshooting steps. Using the management to console is the best. It's usable, even for a beginner engineer. Anybody I give it access to can use it without any issues.

I would rate the cloud DDoS management system for analyzing attacks on my organization an 8.5 out of ten.

It's very good at protecting users from DDoS attacks. It's the leader in this domain. 

In our use case, we do not use encryption or decryption. We simply defend against general types of DDoS attacks, like TCP SIM or DNS flood attacks. With Radware, we can defend against many types of attacks.

Radware consists of a so-called security profile. Each profile is just like an engine, and the engines check if that packet is valid or invalid. If it's invalid, it just gets dropped immediately and doesn't go for checking to another engine. But if it's okay, then another engine checks if it belongs to a scanning attack or it's a behavior-based attack. It helps decide whether something is malicious or not.

DefensePro is very effective at detecting attacks in real-time. From our experience, it's quite effective equipment. The main goal during the attack is just to protect the host and the customer's facility. So in this way, it is quite effective. We also have NetScout in our facilities, so we can compare them with each other. 

Our goal is to analyze the attack after attack and try to improve our ability to minimize the false positives. It's helped us.

We've been able to reduce downtime associated with attacks. During an attack, Radware DefensePro drops the malicious traffic. Sometimes it is very effective, and sometimes it is not as effective. However, without this, the very first attack against the customer would just pull everything down. Now that we have this equipment in place providing protection, the customer can continue to work. Maybe the performance would suffer a little bit; however, at least they can continue to work. We have small attacks happening every day against our customers, so having protection is critical.

This was crucial because DDoS attacks can strike unexpectedly, and a rapid response is essential. Radware's responsiveness throughout the testing process assured us that we weren't just another customer.

Radware DefensePro's most valuable feature lies in its ability to mitigate non-traffic attacks. This allows for clear visibility into natural packet flow and the packet filters are automatically applied to routers whenever suspicious behavior is detected.

The dashboard is the best part, and there is also the ease of operations.

DDoS Protection Service provides excellent defense in the cloud, and the implementation and migration are very straightforward. 

The solution provides good real-time protection against threats. 

We use the Cloud DDoS Management System, and it provides good visibility into incidents. We can centrally manage incidents according to our defense flows.  

The Management System is very easy to use. 

The Cloud DDoS Management System provides many cloud-based tools for analyzing and managing attacks on our organization, including alerts and reporting. There's a dashboard that allows us to monitor alerts, and we can configure reports to receive them daily and monthly.  

The Cloud DDoS Management System mitigates attacks depending on their priority, but it takes less than 30 minutes to mitigate high-priority attacks, and the response begins immediately.   

The product's mean time to detect an incident is ten to fifteen seconds. 

I can only distinguish Radware DefensePro from Netscout AED, which doesn't have such a protection network, behavior analysis, intrusion prevention, and maybe anti-bot modules. This product is more advanced than Netscout AED. However, I haven't the knowledge of how it looks in comparison, for example, to F5 or Fortinet appliances or others, as I didn't do RFI and RFP. The most important thing for me right now in the Radware portfolio, is that Radware went to the cloud and has a flexible model based on virtual machines that can be delivered in our data center model, which could be delivered via the public cloud. That’s the big advantage of Radware, from my perspective.

Its functionality is very good.

Signature protection is enabled because it uses profiles stored in the device. When configuring protection for a customer, one can select from various profiles. Migration protection is the most crucial, and we offer subscriptions with Radware.

Another effective feature of Radware DefenseFlow is the behavior mechanism, implemented for protection. This mechanism monitors the customer's traffic and typically requires one day to learn the customer's traffic patterns, establishing baselines. If significant deviations from these baselines occur, the behavior protection is triggered to safeguard the customer's traffic.

The solution is stable. 

It has a high level of scalability. It is reliable. 

The initial setup is easy.

The most valuable feature is the controller that determines when and how traffic can be moved to the cloud.

The important features include automated protection and defense against many attacks, it's important that our networks are protected in the Radware cloud.

In terms of the environment that I work in, the SSL, DNS, and HTTP are all valuable features. This is a very technologically simple and effective solution. 

This solution is extremely scalable and has the highest level throughput (100G) which complies with Telco deployment.

The solution is also very secure and reliable and can be integrated with many different platforms. The configurations are very easy when considering the graphical user interface.

The most valuable feature is the monitoring.

The tool's machine learning and artificial intelligence help to prevent attacks by analyzing real-time traffic. 

It's got a very intuitive graphical interface, very deep detailed information on attacks, and has the possibility of scheduling updates.  

The solution provides good monitoring and a user-friendly dashboard. We have many clients using this solution, including banks. 

The most valuable feature is the DDoS protection.

The reporting is very good and provides us with a comprehensive description of where attacks are emanating from. The solution mitigates against these attacks in real-time and you can see where their base path is routing from.

If for any reason, DefensePro goes offline, it doesn't prevent your infrastructure from functioning or your customers from reaching you. Obviously, the protection will not be there, but your customers can still reach the services that you are hosting internally. This is a good feature because otherwise, it would be a single point of failure for your entire infrastructure.

The solution offers a keen, tight service. It's very good at protecting us from DDoS attacks. It's very good at cleaning our pipeline when support routes traffic through. 

The product has been stable. The performance is pretty good.

The pricing is reasonable. It's not overly expensive.

It's my understanding the initial setup isn't too hard.

The ease of installation is the solution's most valuable aspect.

The configuration is very simple and straightforward.

The stability of the product is very good.

The product integrates well with Cisco.

Cisco partners with Radware and Radware integrates with Firepower very easily.

The Radware DefensePro module, the virtual module running on Firepower, provides more DDoS protection than, for example, Cloudflare.

There is a long list of all arrays of the DDoS attempt cross-mitigation that it does. ISP just basically does IP-based DDoS or TCB DDoS protections. Radware goes beyond that, into DNS DDoS, content-based DDoS, et cetera, so it has many levels.

With Radware, there's a lot more granular control of what DDoS you're looking at in terms of DDoS visibility and protection. 

It's an on-prem appliance, however, they also have a cloud-based appliance, meaning that copies always are on demand. 

They have a hybrid model approach if a client wants to go that way. 

There's a lot of flexibility, and a lot of different deployment models available whereas Cloudflare, for example, is only in the cloud. 

The most valuable feature is the ability to create signatures on-demand.

All of our traffic has to pass through the appliance, so we can very quickly mitigate the attack. This is a very valuable feature. On top of that, it's not only volumetric attack protection that the solution offers, but also layer 7 attack protection as well.

Another valuable aspect is that DefensePro can work together with Alteon and AppWall as one big platform. We can offer one holistic web application firewall, which covers aspects such as layer 7 protection, volumetric protection, and the web application firewall. The integration potential of the solution is great.

The solution is very user-friendly.

The DDoS protection that the solution provides is its most valuable feature.

The defense against DDos attacks is the primary use, but the product provides other network security as well.

With the secure signature feature, the Radware DefensePro is a big assistance. It is a big help to our customers to improve their productivity and performance. The prompt response from the Radware team is definitely increasing in the new era. 

Radware DefensePro is already working well for us, but I want a little bit of improvement, i.e. zero downtime.

A valuable feature is the speed of signature updates. We have received a better response from the team that does technical support.

SSL-based mitigation from DDoS attacks is good from their side. They are capable of preventing SSL-based attacks with certifications and everything loaded onto them.

Data scrubbing and unmatched DDoS protection are valuable features.
