We use the solution for data warehousing. 

I use the solution in my company for developing applications, of course, with the ERP in place, along with the different modules that are related to the financial system, HR's internal functionalities, project management, and invoicing. My company uses it more for the in-house development of IT applications.

The primary use case is a stable relational database used to manage business applications with less downtime for the business. It seems to have the ability to scale up and down depending upon business needs. We needed a database with effective backup and recovery tools to protect the database against data loss and reconstruct the database quickly in case of any loss. The database addresses information security by providing cutting-edge security features to protect corporate assets and data critical to business.

We have 5 Oracle servers having 3 RAC and 2 Stand Alone servers.All using Oracle 12c R2 SE.

1 DR standalone server is also there .

I set up ERP projects for applications and databases to implement infrastructure and scalability. The solutions include SAP and IFS on the Linux operating system. 

When planning a database strategy for running applications in a client-server environment, Oracle Database can integrate smoothly and steadily. 

The MS SQL Server is cost-effective, however, fails to meet global centralization in IT. SAP and IFS also recommend that transactions exceed certain numbers and need to be replaced with Oracle Database instead for performance issues.

We use it internally for some small odds and ends. Two of our biggest clients use this solution. One client has more or less a data warehousing application. Another one has more of a transactional and pseudo accounting application.

I am currently using 12c, but I have also done some work with version 18. This July, we're going to upgrade most of our main databases from version 12 to version 18, which is fairly current. I believe they have version 20 available at this point.

We work with a bank and our core banking application sits on Oracle Database. Most of the applications in our ecosystem are all developed on Oracle RDBMS, so Oracle Database. They are all running mostly on Oracle Database. I'd estimate that 75-80% of our applications all run on Oracle Database in our environment.

We work in agriculture, and where we're located we have two sites in two separate cities in Canada. These are all transactional databases and they have information in them about the dairy industry in our country. We use it for storing data related to dairy cows, dairy farmers, or farmers in general, and we have all the information in the transactional database that holds everything from billing to individual animal data. We probably have about 12 terabytes of data on the Oracle databases.

We are storing our data in Oracle. We collect data from a third-party vendor, transform it, and put it in Oracle. We use it as staging for report development.

I use Oracle Database in my company for database management.

In the last project, we had a big warehouse. It was a logistics company, and we had all company data stored in this. We also had insurance use cases. We had all contracts, customer data, and all kinds of stuff.

We use it for different applications in my company.

We are mainly using it for our business applications. Our main business application is the ERP application, and the other one is the payroll application. Both applications are developed on the Oracle platform. The ERP application covers our sales and marketing side, as well as manufacturing and finance.

We use the solution as a database, basically. We do not use it for the data warehouse. It's just a few databases.

I have been working with Oracle products for more than 10 years, and as a consultant, I did a lot of implementations that include different database vendors. To be honest, Oracle Database provides you with different features that don't exist in any database, or you can find relevant features in other vendors, but it will not give the same capability Oracle Database has. Let's take for example RAC or real application cluster that provides HA for Oracle Database, it's considered as one of the best solutions for the database.

I have worked on different environments for different big client names since it's my job role, and Oracle provides a different solution for DR, performance tuning, security, and HA.

We use it for OLTP and data warehouses. We're using versions 10, 11, 12, and 19.

We use the solution for ETL and real-time data analytics.

I'm an Oracle business partner. I'm the Oracle partner in Columbia. We resell Oracle hardware and Oracle software licenses. We deal with the leading Oracle solution with our clients in Columbia and outside Columbia. 

We were nominated twice in 2019 and in 2021 as an Oracle Excellence partner for Oracle Database Appliance. It is one of the flagship products of Oracle for databases.

We don't use Oracle Databases for our production purposes because we are Oracle partners, so we use Oracle Database for internal purposes. We use the Autonomous Database. We have very limited use.

The solution is deployed on-prem.

I use Oracle Database to support the customized Java ERP setup that I currently have.

The Complaint Management System is related to a call center. There is a call center responsible for writing down the complaints from the customers about their network electricity. If there is an error they reach out to us. There is an operator there writing down this complaint using his terminal. There are many different call centers in the country and all of them write up these complaints using the Oracle Database.

• I have used Oracle technologies for last two decades apart from other similar vendors like MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, etc.

We use the Oracle Database for applications such as sensor data management, banking tools, e-commerce forms, and similar functionalities. It is a data warehouse.

It is for our core banking system. We are using version 19c, and the data is version eight.

We are a solution provider and Oracle Database is one of the products that we implement for our customers. We also use it ourselves. It is used to store large amounts of data including things such as customer data and shipment data.

We have our own private cloud so it is possible to host Oracle in that way, but we more commonly use an on-premises deployment because the size of the data is huge. In some ways, we have no choice but to host it on-premises.

We are using the Oracle E-Business Suite ERP system and the backend of that application is Oracle Database. We are using the customer care and billing application and the backend of that application is also Oracle Database. 

My use case is a lot of banking solutions. Data sometimes is static in nature, but in a majority of the cases, it is dynamic as well. Oracle database is a focalization database.

We use Oracle Database to run applications. We use it for our clients' databases and applications.

Whenever a client has problems or requires new implementations, they approach us. We provide training and coaching with application implementations. Currently, one such implementation is underway in the UK.

I use Oracle Database for storage, proxy, and general database stuff.

We use Oracle Database for our ERP systems mainly because we provide IFS for customers and the IFS utilizes Oracle Database. We generally don't use other Oracle tools because of a bad experience with an R&D project in the past where we had to find the best solution for AI/neural network platforms.

We assessed using Oracle for these AI platforms, but we had plenty of problems with the proper setup of the test version of Oracle Cloud. Frankly speaking, we stopped testing and using Oracle in this R&D project and switched to other tools that are simpler to setup and simpler to understand the pricing. No one was sure how much would have to be paid for the platform to support our AI requirements such as natural language recognition and other things.

Because of these factors, we have essentially stopped using the other Oracle tools and we now only use Oracle Database for the ERP systems that we run for ourselves and for our customers. For this purpose, we use Oracle as a permanent database that is situated on-premises. We have quite a wide range of versions of Oracle Database amongst ourselves and our customers because many of them are older installations that are still operating. In all, there are about 10,000 users of Oracle Database throughout our customers, and perhaps 2,000 users in my organization.

Because I worked with various organizations, most of the time we used it for government and other centers, such as managing transport systems.

I worked on private on-premises and hybrid cloud deployments.

We use Oracle Database primary for business intelligence in the telecom domain. We are generating all of our KPIs. Additionally, we use it for data warehousing purposes.

The solution is a black box for us. I'm working on it for maintenance and check everything - check the cables, check the relationship between cables to serve this product, et cetera. Sometimes our customer needs to extract some information from the system via our extension for the database to extract this info directly from the database and not from the system. 

We didn't interact more on the database so the use cases are mostly related to the extraction of information in tables. To check the database status, we have another system, a geosystem, so we check the replication between the two systems. Some operations are a little more than general development on the database.

We use this on-premise and cloud technology for our client databases.

I have been using as well as selling Oracle Database from version 8 till version 19C. We have on-premises and cloud deployments.

I am working on cloud-based solutions. We are introducing Oracle Cloud infrastructure to our internal sales teams to show that Oracle has an Oracle Cloud as well, and it is called Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

We’re using Oracle Database at our customers and for any vast applications, for data warehouses, online transaction processing applications, with packaged applications like Siebel and SAP that work with Oracle. Oracle is the main enterprise database for the finance sector today, in general.

It is deployed on AWS Cloud, but it is an IaaS setup, not the PaaS one.

We are using or leveraging Oracle DB for storing the transaction related details. Along with that we are heavily relying on the CCQ and setup that Oracle provides. They were sending a notification for any changes or transactional log audit purposes that we are using.

I work for an insurance organization and we have been using Oracle Database for our application architecture. We store all the user-level information in the Oracle Database that our company deals in, such as policy information. Before I joined this organization, they were only using the Oracle Database but now we are migrating from Oracle to the SQL Server Database. For any new applications that are getting built or designed, we are trying to use SQL Server instead of Oracle.

We have started using it recently, and I don't have any use cases as of now. We are just taking the data from Oracle Database and pushing it to the further layers. We are using its latest version.

We use Oracle Database for running ERP systems and for managing clients.

Most of our applications are actually generating data on Oracle Database. They're connecting finance, HR, et cetera. Everything is on Oracle Database.

I support the backend and administration tasks for the databases in my organization, and for our clients, and Oracle is one of the products that I work with. The tasks I perform are things like creating the database and then maintaining it. I do not work with specific use cases but rather, provide support for them.

All of our databases are accessed remotely and are hosted on Linux servers. It is not always easy to manage, considering things like the firewalls that are in place, so we have our own scripts for this.

Oracle database stores system data accessed by desktop users, primarily for HR and ERP systems. I plan to implement some custom functionalities for standard operations.

It is our core for bank processes.

We use Oracle Database for automatic banking systems to store the information about the accounts, the card being used, and all the other customer profile information.

Once we get the installation done, we migrate items to our new DB and we maintain the service with tasks such as clearing the caches and taking the backups, and checking the logs. We look at what it's doing - if something's wrong or if there are any kinds of issues. Occasionally, we do some performance tuning.

Over the past seven years, we have done many projects, and in many of those projects, we have used Oracle as a source. We are using an ETL tool from Informatica, and we have used Oracle as a source for our projects. For our configuration and repository databases, we normally use SQL Server. We are not using Oracle Database for that.

We are primarily using it for software. We have a lot of software applications that are connected to this database.

I use this solution as a DBA on AIX and Linux.

I work as a software developer designing DevOps and implementing Oracle applications with Oracle Database. I design and develop core banking systems, so my role was to manage a team of developers for design, development, and testing. I do some implementation, too. Our customers use Oracle Database as an RDBMS store data.

We are a hotel and the use the database for many things. It's connected to an API, and we use that to connect directly to the database. 

My company is using the solution as a database warehouse. Previously, when I was a vendor, they used to work with Oracle forms. They were doing databases, and we were doing a secondary backup solution, which was backing up on the cloud.

We are using the solution for our online transaction system - that is debit cards - and we are using it for our loan origination system as well. There are two systems that are deployed on it and we are getting a good experience from it. 

For the Database solution, I'm working with the 12c version. For Security Solution, I'm working with Oracle based Audit Vault and Database Firewall, versions 12 and 20.

We use the solution in Cameroon, where I reside, for payroll purposes.

The primary use case of this solution is as part of our financial systems.

I am an end-user of the Oracle database. The only use of Oracle is the repository of the data. So from the end-user side, it is transparent. A database is a good database if it does not slow down production or data processing. That the database prevents data from being exposed to any malware or any malicious scripting is a good idea. Most recent involvement was the migration of a large database from a non-relational legacy database requiring redundancy with aggressive recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for the disaster recovery (DR) environment. We also had a requirement to have the migration completed and the data validated within a single long weekend. 

Significant assistance in tuning both the migration process and the production database was provided by Oracle Consulting Services, which provided excellent and very professional advice.

I'm working as a BI consultant, so the usual use cases for this solution are creating data integration and building a data mart.

Most of the use cases for Oracle Database I was involved in were for data migration. I was performing analysis and writing scripts to support the data migration from one data model to a new data model within the database.
