What is our primary use case?

Using the SCRUM methodology, we use Miro to co-create content for software development and meetings, such as reviews and retrospectives.

What is most valuable?

The principal feature of the platform is the capability of co-creating content and sharing invites with all people in the organization and outside. It makes it very easy to manage meetings, and the outcomes are excellent.

What needs improvement?

The product subscription is very expensive. The pricing could be better.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using Miro for six months.

How are customer service and support?

I emailed Miro's representative support today but am still waiting for an answer. They can take some time to respond.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We used a Microsoft Paint Brush and White Board. We switched to Miro for its co-creation feature.

Miro is a real co-creation tool, not a presentation tool. It allows us to do more in less time and is very productive. It's also easier to learn and use than Microsoft products.

How was the initial setup?

There is a learning curve for the initial setup process.

What was our ROI?

The product generates a return on investment by saving 50% of our time.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The product costs approximately $300 per user.

What other advice do I have?

Miro significantly enhances brainstorming sessions. It becomes easy for team members to express their feelings about the project when they want to draw, write, and explain their ideas.

I rate it an eight out of ten.

User-friendly interface that can be used for diagramming purposes
Pros and Cons
  • "The solution's UI is very user-friendly, and it is not that hard to define the shapes you are looking for or to import them."
  • "When I imported an image to Miro, my friend saw it differently from what I saw when I changed the size of it."

What is our primary use case?

We used Miro mainly for brainstorming and getting some ideas when I was working on a project with my friends. I also used it for a little bit of diagramming.

What is most valuable?

Miro is a very easy-to-use tool. The solution's UI is very user-friendly, and it is not that hard to define the shapes you are looking for or to import them. The solution facilitates good team collaboration between my friends and me, and there's no delay.

What needs improvement?

When I imported an image to Miro, my friend saw it differently from what I saw when I changed the size of it. I think the tool has some small technical issues that need to be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Miro for a couple of months.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Around five users were using the solution.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have previously used Lucidchart for a project. Miro's user interface is very easy to use and has a better design than Lucidchart. However, Lucidchart is a better diagramming tool than Miro.

How was the initial setup?

The solution's initial setup was pretty easy. When I first started using Miro, there were some guides on how to use it.

What other advice do I have?

I only used the SaaS version of Miro because I only use it for school projects.

Overall, I rate Miro a nine out of ten.
