Perforce Delphix has a data control tower, which is their admin product through which you can do the provisioning of the VDBs from one dashboard across all engine deployments; we had multiple engines of virtualization and the masking engine, allowing us to have one view of the whole infrastructure sitting at that one product. They have developed this product quite nicely because previously it was just for reporting, but now it has many capabilities including virtual engine, virtual VDBs provisioning, masking, and doing many other things all from one dashboard.

The third notable feature is the ability to roll back data; if the deployed masked data malfunctions, you can revert to a previous version, correct any issues, and reload it.

I rely on the national ID feature most in Perforce Delphix. In Workday, we use different countries' national IDs, which have specific formats. Perforce Delphix has its own connectors to fetch data from the real-time environment, using that particular format to produce deterministic data. The national ID feature is very useful for me to anonymize national IDs.

The UI was easy to access. If I were to see the current upgraded version of your tool, I might be able to evaluate what the past looked like compared to what the current version offers. Perforce Delphix is used for our products, and even though Git is also available, we primarily use Perforce Delphix for one set of products. Without a doubt, the most valuable feature of Delphix is VDB provisioning. That feature has the ability to provision virtual databases and provide us with a huge reduction in storage requirements. In fact, it enables us to provision databases on demand at a fraction of the storage requirement that we would have needed without it.

Then there's the feature that enables us to rewind and create environments from snapshots of other environments and parent-child relationships. In general, we found everything around VDB provisioning and virtual databases to be exceptionally awesome. In my 20 years as an Oracle VBA, it's changed the landscape drastically.
