We performed a comparison between Dynatrace and Savision Live Maps based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic and others in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability."Reduces the amount of knowledge that is needed by applications consuming this data."
"The real-user monitoring is mostly used to gauge the difference in performance for multitenant applications, This is so we can discern if there are any local network or client-facing issues when we do a comparison between each customer. It is quite important for us to be able to identify a client-side issue, as opposed to a feature managed problem, because we're essentially providing managed services of business applications."
"Once you are trained on the solution, it's easy to navigate. It's got very good documentation and training offerings."
"Dynatrace provide us the in-depth details to know what is wrong in the application and what are performance issues, then really quickly we are able to debug any performance issues or any other performance-related issues."
"Understanding how the user was being targeted by the application as well as knowing their behavior using those applications."
"Support from Dynatrace is excellent. They are always on hand for any queries, demos, and/or issues."
"The OneAgent technology does a brilliant job of simplifying what was earlier one of the pain points in enterprise monitoring."
"The solution is amazing, it does well when you need to use it."
"This helps to centralize multiple monitoring solutions and streamline integration into ITSM."
"The messaging layer is not really capturable and measurable right now."
"It's not very scalable, we cannot add another server onto it."
"I find it is very difficult to train someone in using this application. As amazing as it can be, the learning curve is extensive."
"We ran into a problem where the Dynatrace JavaScript agent is returning errors, and it's very apparent that there's a problem. However, the customer support will ask us for seemingly unnecessary details instead of looking at our dashboard through their account to see what the problem is. They ask us for a lot of details not really related to solving the problem. As a result, we still have a few issues that were never resolved. They're not major issues, but they're kind of frustrating."
"So far, we have not achieved the benefit of preventing issues."
"Data streaming and dashboard loading can be improved to reduce dashboard latency."
"The mobile app provided by Dynatrace could be improved, especially the DCR mobile app because it does not have some of the basic functions, like push notifications or even customized reports."
"They're doing vulnerability assessments of the application stack by using OneAgent. It's a never-ending story if you are trying to be sure your application is also secure."
"Perhaps more focus can be done on the CMDB portion and bi-directional communication to the ITSM system, but this is a small portion."
