The visibility and control capabilities of Cisco Secure Firewall in managing encrypted traffic are very good. I can implement all my certificates, so I can open the traffic and see everything.

My impression of the visibility and control capabilities of Cisco Secure Firewall in managing encrypted traffic is limited as we haven't tried SSL encryption yet. That's something we might explore in the future.

There is some traffic that is encrypted that needs to be decrypted to catch something and analyze and give some analytics, so that part needs to work more.

Most tools seem to be limited on encrypted traffic, so we don't get too much visibility into it—just the general type of traffic, not too much more than that.
View full review »Cisco Secure Firewall has some growth opportunities in terms of visibility and control capabilities regarding managing encrypted traffic. It has the ability to analyze encrypted traffic, and there is potential for more integration with APIs and AI to enhance these capabilities.

I have not used any new features or functionalities recently in Cisco Secure Firewall, as it usually functions as a Layer 4 firewall without applying any filtering or inspection.
View full review »At Cisco, we have deployed firewalls in our labs setup. We are gathering data using application visibility and control for the OT network. We can see the OT protocols in the application visibility, but that is not mentioned in our documentation. I have asked multiple times if you support these features, why is this feature not in the documentation. It should be in the documentation if you're providing something; it should be mentioned in the public documentation.
