The reporting feature.

The product has helped us improve our firewall policies. It's also helped me to make decisions on best practices.

The product needs improvement in all areas, but I don't use the product deep enough to say anything more specific.

There was no previous solution in place.

It was straightforward on a virtual machine.

There are no implementation issues; just take a look into the device's compatibility with your systems. It's a a really simple tool with strong results.

We needed to review unused rules and delete them. However, I also wanted to view my unused objects and NAT rules. Algosec met my needs. 

The product was able to present how many rules were redundant and how many shadow rules were in a gateway. Thanks to this visibility, I was able to do my rule optimization. Thus, my firewall rules were fewer, and fewer rules were checked when traffic passed through the firewall. In this way, it was possible for traffic to pass through the firewall faster.

The simulation can be improved. Networks and interfaces to which the firewall is connected are kept in a visual simulation. The rules could also show us the traffic on these networks in red and green. When we add a rule, we should be able to see what kind of traffic obstruction we can cause and what can be improved. In the next release, it would be fun to visually present the dashboard with animations.

My main use case for AlgoSec is that we are partners, so we are using AlgoSec for the customers as the service.

In my opinion, the best features AlgoSec offers are the network map and traffic uses.

The network format and traffic uses stand out to me because of the visibility and the blocking and audit path within the organization.

I think AlgoSec will impact my organization or my clients positively through visibility and security.

I would not add anything else about the features, nor is there another feature I'm looking forward to exploring as I start working with more clients.

I have been using AlgoSec for a couple of months.

From what I know or expect, AlgoSec is stable.

In my opinion, AlgoSec's scalability is average.

I have not had any experience with their support team yet, so I cannot comment on the customer support so far.

I expect a return on investment from using AlgoSec, and I anticipate all benefits, as we are partners.

My company has a business relationship with this vendor as we are partners.

I was not offered a gift card or incentive for this review.

I do not have any advice to give to others looking into using AlgoSec.
