Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"This solution has made our team more collaborative. The recruiting team is easily able to see what the other team members are working on, what candidates are in process and how they can share candidates amongst themselves. They are now able to prevent work duplication due to increased visibility. Eightfold is candidate centric.""The most valuable aspect of this solution is the insight we receive on current employees.""This solution has allowed our team to focus on higher value activities and to make sure that they are optimizing time to identify talent and match it to opportunities. They can then focus on the layers where humans are necessary.""The most valuable feature has been the ease at which people can set up their profiles by simply uploading their CV or Linkedin profile. We previously had very low levels of adoption.""The ability to get matched to candidates is certainly valuable. In real time, you are able to adjust your description of the work and the project you need done in order to match you with the best candidates.""Stability is fantastic. In the two years we've used it, I've only experienced one outage.""It really expedites the whole process and helps the end-customer hone in on what they need. With the evolution to remote work that we are currently going through, there's much more of a need to tailor recruiting.""The CRM is a useful feature to create user communities that we can actively engage in on an ongoing basis."

"I like the payroll part. We also use documents and forms whenever we hire, such as a new hire form for each state, and we like that as well.""I appreciated the templates that they offered for new hires and onboarding."

Cons
"There are some small product features that could be enhanced. Ease of use and the recruiter user experience could be improved. Moving through certain stages involves many clicks which can be time consuming.""We have had a couple of challenges with some of the things that we're currently trying to build out in our HCM application, and other things within the portfolio, but those aren't customer-facing issues.""Eightfold could be improved by focusing on the employee experience. It is important that Eightfold understands how it forms part of the entire experience, especially as they continue to scale. Eightfold should make sure they understand how it connects with other solutions in our technology ecosystem to drive the full user experience.""Eightfold could be improved if they had more round table conversations about features and their roadmap. They should actively seek out feedback from their customers.""The tagging feature is not as in depth and easy to use as I would've hoped for. Although you can create tags for candidates, there's no way to report all those tags and see what tags are already created.""It would be interesting to enable Eightfold to have a user experience that is seamless in terms of single sign on to and from core systems of record. That is, the ability for a user or hiring manager/recruiter to go in and out of Eightfold back into their core system, whether that be Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, etc. It would great to be able to go back and forth with a single sign on capability so that you don't have to log in and out of applications, where it's a bidirectional single sign on.""An opportunity for Eightfold to improve on is to open up their environment to allow us to own our application maintenance and development environment. We would like to be able to make some of the configuration changes and improvements ourselves.""From my perspective, I think the usability could use some attention. Eightfold.ai offers modules for talent acquisition, talent management, and other areas like projects. They try to use a common UI for all of them, but it really needs to be more persona-based. That's the thing that I struggle with the most."

"In the beginning, their support was top-notch. And then around the beginning of 2022, and end of 2021, their support tanked. We used to get responses in the beginning within one to two business days, and towards the end, we were getting responses in one to two business weeks.""Their enrollment e-signature, enrollment forms, and other documents need a lot of work. Once we fill in the information, we cannot go back and change any of that. It's a time-taking process. If there is any mistake in the document and if we need to go and change a specific field in the form, it's not possible. We have to redo the entire form."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing is fair compared to the market."
  • "This is a fairly expensive solution compared to others on the market. However, the solution offers functionality of a number of other different solutions combined. From that perspective, it is competitively priced."
  • "The pricing is fairly competitive. The licensing is fairly flexible to have all employees take advantage of it in any given capacity."
  • "I would rate the pricing a seven out of ten, with one being cheap and ten being expensive."
