Atlassian is an Australian enterprise software company that develops products geared towards software developers and project managers. Atlassian is headquartered in Sydney, Australia. On February 14, 2014, Atlassian president Jay Simons announced the opening of an Austin office that will eventually employ 600 people. Atlassian was founded in 2002 by Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar. In 2006, Cannon-Brookes and Farquhar were named Ernst & Young's Entrepreneurs of the Year.

Tata Consultancy Services Limited was founded in 1968 by a division of Tata Sons Limited. and providing bureau services to Unit Trust of India. In 1975, TCS conducted its first campus interviews, held at IISc,Bangalore. The recruits comprised 12 Indian Institutes of Technology graduates and three IISc graduates, who became the first TCS employees to enter a formal graduate trainee programme.
