We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It has good integration with HPE Primera. They have smart zoning in which the administration is very easy. You don't have to do anything. Zoning and other things are done automatically if you just enable the smart zoning. That's one very good thing in HP.""The initial setup was really straightforward and easy.""The most valuable feature of Brocade Ethernet Switches is the good range of access it provides.""I have not had any issues with our Brocade switches.""The reliability of Brocade is the most valuable feature. The solution has been up and running for over ten years without any fail, fixes required, or breakdowns. It is a very strong piece of equipment.""There's a zone for each server and services in the storage.""The technical support is good.""The switches last for a very long time."

"The tool's fault frequency is very less.""It is a stable solution.""The initial setup was very easy and user-friendly.""Its integration is the most valuable.""The initial setup is straightforward.""I can't find anything wrong with our D-Link Ethernet Switches.""There are many good points about this product. Number one, they are very stable, and easy to configure and manage.""It's plug-and-play. There is no configuration necessary."

More D-Link Ethernet Switches Pros →

"The thing that sets Juniper apart from most switches is that when you're in the command line and you make a configuration change, you just write the command and then say "commit confirmed minutes". For example, I'm configuring a switch here in my office, which is five miles away, and I say, "commit confirmed 5". If I can't get back to the interface within five minutes to be able to make sure the switch came up, it rolls back to the previous configuration. This way I do not get locked out, or the switch doesn't get messed up because of the incorrect configuration. That's an automatic feature, which is pretty slick. I haven't seen that feature with other vendors that I've worked with. That's probably my most favorite feature.""It's stable and reliable.""I like the simplicity of it.""It is easy to configure, and there are three routing switches.""The solution has a high level of network functionality.""Juniper Ethernet Switches are high-end solutions.""The tool's most valuable feature is stability.""There is no end to the ability to scale Juniper."

Cons
"The solution could be more secure.""Brocade Ethernet Switches need a better interface and centralized management.""No graphical interface.""There are some performance issues.""Brocade Ethernet Switches could improve by having better compatibility with web management of older versions.""It should be simpler. There are still some things that can be simpler in the Brocade switches.""These switches are no longer supported."

More Brocade Ethernet Switches Cons →

"I'd like to see a central management system included as part of their license, not as a separate purchase. Currently, we have to manage switches independently. A central portal for managing all switches and providing visibility would be great.""The solution's web filtering feature could be improved.""I would like an option to create different networks within the switch.""Its security features need improvement.""There is room for improvement in terms of stability.""In a future release, the solution could improve by being more secure and allowing the configuration of each port.""The solution needs better local support.""The solution could be cheaper."

More D-Link Ethernet Switches Cons →

"Juniper Ethernet Switches' tech support is hard to reach and slow.""Juniper's support could be much better and faster.""Juniper EX Series Ethernet Switches lack to offer the latest management tools.""The interface could be better. It needs improvement.""Juniper EX Series Ethernet Switches is not cheap. The tool needs improvement in UI.""Juniper Ethernet Switches' operating systems get corrupted when the power fails. They have to improve this issue. I may have to use a newer version.""They could provide better security tools.""One potential drawback of the Juniper EX Series has been that those without experience using a command-line interface (CLI) may find it intimidating. However, Junos is working on improving this by offering tools, such as Juniper Mist with Wired Assurance and Apstra. Additionally, the graphical user interface (GUI) could be improved as it has been considered lackluster across the board in Junos."
