Find out what your peers are saying about Veeam Software, Zerto, Commvault and others in Disaster Recovery (DR) Software."CloudEndure Disaster Recovery is a fairly stable solution."
"The initial setup is really straightforward."
"We went from an organization with minimal to no disaster recovery. I was able to spin up the disaster recovery environment with AWS rather quickly and meet business requirements."
"It provides our disaster recovery solution. It works fine in our tests."
"The setup is pretty straightforward."
"The solution is dependent on the network bandwidth. For example, if they have a bandwidth of 10Mbps the solution will run a little heavier. If the bandwidth is good the solution runs well."
"We have never had any issues with scalability."
"The initial setup is pretty straightforward, it's not complex."
"They are the best support that we have had so far. When you contact or email them, they are very quick to respond. They always have someone available for us. That's what we want as a customer, we want someone to listen to us."
"The cloud side of it is nice. Everything happens behind the scenes without you realizing it, which is nice. It doesn't interrupt usage. There is also the freedom and ease of use of the cloud portal, which you can use to manage your backup. One of the strong points of Barracuda is that you can go from zero to having your first backup running within 10 minutes. If you have access to admin accounts and everything else, it can happen in 10 minutes. The ability to go in and just restore a particular file without having to do a full restore is also very useful. You can just go in and pick the files that you need to restore, and the same is with email. You can just go in, find an email, and restore that email without having to do a full backup of all the data or a full restore of the data. I feel very safe because it is not just about the backup; it is about the protection of the data from outside threats. They have a lot of areas of ATP, that is, advanced threat protection. You don't see that much on the backup side. You see it more on the email side. In the email protection, you know it is there at the back. It moves the quarantine emails that come through into a sandbox area, and then you can choose in the sandbox. You can open up an email in the sandbox to make sure that if there is a virus, it can't harm you. You can also plan how often your backups run, such as every six hours or four hours. It is the same with email. They also have a great PhishLine package, which is phishing attack training. You can have the strongest and the best backup and security that you can, but the end user is always the weakest link. They send almost like testing emails to end users to help them identify and understand phishing emails and prevent user or phishing attacks. It is a very good package."
"The most important feature in Barracuda Backup is the ability to archive the backup of emails."
"Barracuda's support is probably one of the best things about them, even with all their solutions. With any problem that we have, or even questions, we get the assistance that we need. The turnaround is pretty quick."
"Of all the backup products we have used, this by far is the simplest to install and use."
"Most important is its ease of use. You plug it in, follow the steps, and you have your backup file."
"It is very reliable, so we don't have any issues with it. Our customers have never raised any issue with it. Basically, once you set it up and it is running, it is trouble-free. Our customers are happy. They just got a renewal for the subscription for the service."
"It's a one-stop shop, meaning we just program and schedule the backups, decide what is being backed up, and then it automatically replicates and deduplicates."
"The user interface, customer support, and the recovery time for the current customer query could use improvement."
"The UI could be a little sleeker."
"I would like to see better support for creating and working with archives."
"The solution's network setup and a lot of the control tower setup could be improved."
"The only thing I would like to see is, they don't have a formal ticketing system. There is no way I can go back and see what questions we had six months back, what issues we had, and how they were resolved."
"Sometimes a server will get a bit behind. "
"I have not seen any areas that need improvement at this time."
"The bandwidth is a constant upload communication to the AWS DR environment, so if you do not have the proper bandwidth, it will definitely eat up your internet line."
"Some features like CIFS are not supported that would help speed and flexibility."
"Their technical support is not very good. You never know what they are doing and what is the issue. Customers need to know what is happening. This is our main concern and the only thing that can be improved in this solution. I would like to have more visibility about what is going on when something happens. I need to know what was done to solve the issue."
"Barracuda works great for smaller network environments, which are not that complex. It is hardware-based with a Linux core, which you don't have access to, and a lot of stuff happens on the back-end. Even from a troubleshooting perspective, it is a bit challenging."
"I would like to see a way to increase space."
"This solution could be improved with offering lower prices at scale."
"I would like to see the automatic backup of critical applications to the cloud."
"We cannot backup Sun Micro systems. They are not currently supported."
"When we manage the box physically, we don't have as much control as we do when we manage from the cloud. The best management is from the cloud."
