Find out what your peers are saying about Veeam Software, Zerto, Commvault and others in Backup and Recovery."The time navigation is the most valuable feature."
"I don't have any major problems with the agent connectivity with Microsoft applications or Microsoft Azure."
"We found the initial setup to be quite simple."
"It's straightforward to set up."
"The solution is useful for taking backups for end-user laptops and end-user workstations where data is involved."
"The initial setup was straightforward. It was very easy. Deployment only took about one hour with configuration and everything considered."
"A full-featured option for managing virtual machines with an instant recovery feature."
"The Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows is easy to use and performing a recovery is easy to do."
"To do the actual backup configuration is also not too bad."
"They are working on the improvement we're looking for. The web GUI is flash-based and in around one or two months, they will put everything on HTML5."
"The solution lacks instant recovery."
"There isn't really anything I would like to improve. Maybe the solution could be more secure."
"A feature I would like to see is universal restore. At the moment, restoration can only be smooth on the same hardware. Let's say you have a server and you back it up with Veeam Agent, in case it fails or crashes. If you later buy a new server because the same one isn't available on the market anymore, there's a high chance that Windows will not boot up if you restore from the Veeam backup because the hardware is now different. Acronis has the universal restore feature, so it will work with generic drivers and you can restore Windows in any dissimilar hardware. As far as I know, Veeam doesn't have this feature yet."
"I would like to have more flexibility in terms of reporting details about the backup."
"They should improve the solution's automation features."
"The backups can go slow."
"In the next release, I would like to see it easier to implement."
"I am not very impressed by the technical support I received when I had an issue."
