AWS Glue is instrumental for data preparation and serves as an engine connecting data pipelines to services like Kinesis. It is heavily utilized in AI-driven projects for data preparation.

It offers transformation options on canvas or through ETL pipelines, notebooks, and code. Additionally, it supports data preparation, cleaning, and filtering seamlessly. AWS Glue also enhances job scheduling and orchestration capabilities, integrating with AWS Glue Studio for comprehensive data workflow management.

What needs improvement?

AWS Glue is quite scalable, and I would rate its scalability as eight. It can easily handle data from one terabyte to 100 terabytes or more, scaling nicely with larger datasets.

The initial setup of AWS Glue is relatively straightforward, with good documentation available. While it can be complex, the documentation helps make it easier. I would rate the ease of setup as seven.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing for AWS Glue is on the higher side, and I would rate it a seven in terms of expense. The smallest cost for a project is around €700, while the largest can reach up to €7,000 based on the scale of the usage.

What other advice do I have?
