Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Our customers are satisfied with Defender for 365 because Microsoft products are easy to use and customize to meet the client's needs. Everything is in one place, so we can adjust policies as needed for phishing, DLP, ATP, or any other security features that our clients want to apply.""Defender enables us to secure all 365-related activity from a single place. It gives us visibility into everything happening in Outlook, protecting us against phishing and other email-based threats. Defender helps us detect any suspicious behaviors.""Defender for 365 is a comprehensive cloud-based solution. The value of the cloud is that you aren't alone. Threat intelligence and analytics are shared in the cloud. We don't have to find the solution alone. If you face an unknown threat with traditional solutions like Trend Micro and Symantec, you need to open a case and send your information to them to analyze forensically and identify the source of the attack.""At the moment we are satisfied with this product. It's a stable, scalable, and resilient solution for us.""The most valuable feature of Microsoft Defender for Office 365 is the ease of use.""The technical support is good and quick to resolve issues.""Microsoft Defender for Office 365's most valuable feature is its performance.""The initial setup is straightforward. You just add the license, click it, and then you can set up the rules. It is quite simple."

"The Forcepoint Email Security roadmap easily integrates with the data loss prevention (DLP) suite of Forcepoint. Therefore, the customer doesn't have to buy another solution for DLP.""The feature I find most valuable is the web, email and DLP integration.""The most valuable features of Forcepoint Email Security are the integration with other solutions. It provides a more secure infrastructure and views for the customers from the DLP. You can work on URLs, files, and advanced inspections that will protect the customers.""I like how versatile the options are. For example, we can set it where we are able to access and browse Facebook but we are denied the ability to post photos. There is also that ability integrate with Office 365 - SharePoint app.""The filtering of the solution is very good. You can do URL filtering and, while you need a custom URL to filter under other solutions like Symantec, here the solution covers most categories and the database.""Forcepoint Email Security is a good solution, and I don't have any issues with it. I found anti-spam and anti-spyware the most valuable features of Forcepoint Email Security.""This is a reasonably stable solution.""Using Forcepoint, we have created policies and rules for any suspicious mail. It is blocked and only released by an admin's approval."

"It is really important for large companies to have the brand protection that is provided by Agari.""It comes with a lot of helpful tips for complicated areas.""I am impressed with the tool's discovery capabilities which help me find out who is sending the emails on the company's behalf. I also find the ability to detect and generate reports on phishing emails a valuable feature.""If spam or some kind of malicious email gets past Mimecast and gets into our email environment, we can go into Agari and we can search for it."

Cons
"They have moved features from one console to another. Things have been moved around in the interface and it takes me time to find where certain features are.""It would be better if it were more scalable. It depends on the architecture, but we would like to make it more scalable for both data centers.""The GUI is sometimes slow to fetch the device report and could be improved.""The only thing they should improve is the licensing model. They should stop changing it. A year ago, the five features I mentioned were included in one product. Now, three of them are bundled into one product, and you have to pay extra for the other two. I don't mind paying extra, but I don't want them to change it every year or every six months. I need to know what I'm looking at and not worry about it next year.""The custom alerts have to improve a lot.""The certification training for Defender for 365 needs to be deeper and incorporate Sentinel. I took all the security courses except one, and Sentinel isn't included.""We noticed that from time to time, Microsoft's stability does have problems. Sometimes the service goes up and down. Sometimes they change without prior notice.""The UI needs to be more user-friendly."

More Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Cons →

"It's quite difficult to learn this solution, it's not an entry level product. If you are a skilled user you will think it's a very useful tool, but if you are not a skilled user, you'll think it is very difficult to learn.""Forcepoint is the best for DLP, but it is not better than other solutions in terms of phishing emails or threat protections on the email. It has less visibility over there. They might need to enhance these components because other solutions, such as Cisco Email Security and IronPort, have more advanced features. Forcepoint should focus more on threats and spam. They have a small database for spam. They must increase their solution's capability from this perspective.""It would be better if it were simpler to deploy on one or two machines instead of three or four machines.""Customer support could be better.""We've fixed a couple of issues on the solution so far. It doesn't work perfectly all the time.""The pricing could always be just a little bit better.""I would like to see some improvement like cloud application and integration capabilities and the classification part is missing from the DLP.""This solution could be improved by providing further functionality to reduce or to block ransom attacks, cross-site scripting and man-in-the-middle attacks."

More Forcepoint Email Security [EOL] Cons →

"The product's user interface is clunky. We have difficulty in finding what we need. I would also like to see automation in the onboarding processes.""Some customers in the financial sector do not like the cloud solution because they don't want data to be transferred to a US-based cloud.""The protocol is quite complicated, which may not be something that could be improved, but it would be better if it was simplified."
