We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The remote desktop feature allows employees to work from home.""Stable product with straightforward setup.""Citrix is one of the companies that is delivering virtual apps and desktops in a big way. They are mature enough to understand the level of stability required and deliver it.""Relative to other solutions, Citrix has fewer conditions and fewer parameters. Citrix also provides some flexibility because it can be used on any device.""It provides the flexibility of being used on any device which makes the employee experience better, in terms of ease of use.""The Provisioning Services are the most valuable feature. We have Premium licensing, so Provisioning Services is huge for us, along with the Virtual Apps and Desktops part. It allows us to have a vDisk for every region, one that can easily be copied between them if we need to, to limit the amount of updates we have to do.""The scalability is fine. We have about 400 users, who are supported by six staff members. We use the product company-wide throughout 40 different locations, and we currently do not have plans to increase the scale of use.""There are many features that I like, but the stability over the Internet is exceptional. Even if there's bandwidth fluctuation or network jitter, it performs well, offering a seamless experience to end-users without noticeable disruptions."

"The most valuable feature is the stability of the solution.""The product is reliable.""The standout features are its seamless network integration, robust data restoration capabilities, and versatile computing functions.""Microsoft Virtual Server is a stable and easy-to-use solution.""It is an expensive platform. I rate its pricing an eight out of ten.""It is a scalable solution...I followed some online tutorials, because of which I did not face any technical issues or the need to contact the solution's technical support.""It is stable and easy to use.""The dashboard is valuable to us."

Cons
"The visibility the solution provides across SaaS, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, for user and application traffic, is also limited if you do not enable all the services and is based on which services you are utilising. Citrix provides end-to-end visibility based on their services you are utilising.""The sales team does not focus on client needs but instead focuses on selling higher-priced items.""Citrix's functionality depends on you having access to Microsoft Azure. Microsoft offers a broad range of features and solutions. Overall, it may make sense for some users to move all their services to Microsoft services.""Latency is also a major problem when adopting Citrix for video editing software or 3D editing software, especially editing 4K video or large file size. The Citrix virtualized solution becomes too slow, so we cannot use the VDI.""There are many latency and slowness issues, which are things looked after by Citrix.""The initial setup is complex.""The product should expand its capabilities for integrating with other environments.""For us, pricing is the most important feature to improve."

More Citrix DaaS (formerly Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service) Cons →

"As certain medium-level complexities are involved in the product's setup process, the product's setup phase can be considered for improvement.""The tool must provide updates less frequently.""In the future release, I would like to see more automation. Moreover, improvements related to recovery could be beneficial.""The security performance and cost.""In terms of what could be improved, pricing is always too high of course.""The pricing and scalability are areas of the product with shortcomings where improvements are required.""The bandwidth to Singapore could be scaled better.""Microsoft Virtual Server needs to improve its patching. It should offer us a review before updates. The solution should also improve its pricing."
