We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The best part of this product is the administrator convenience. The portal is very user-friendly. An administrator can use it very easily.""The most valuable feature of ARCON Privileged Access Management is the recording of sessions. It has all the basic features we need to fulfill our use case.""After storing the administrator password in this password vault of the solution, the solution can automatically go and change the password based on the defined frequency with the defined complexity.""The initial setup was very simple. There was only one server we had to setup. We needed to store all the passwords, and a secure database is used.""100% compliant and you don't have to maintain ID management for each and every user.""One important feature is the administrator access, mainly for Windows machines as well as Linux machines. It is important for us because there is accountability associated with each user ID. And the recordings are also helpful.""Previously, we had to go through some effort to change the credentials of our devices. The process was subject to human error... For things like managing credentials, some kind of register had to be maintained. With the Password Vault of ARCON, all these processes are automated. The credentials are changed, as per the schedule. The information is encrypted, kept in our vault, and sent to all the email addresses within the ARCON solution itself.""One standout feature of ARCON is its ability to resolve lagging issues, especially noticeable in Linux environments."

Cons
"The auto-password change feature which was recently added. It is supposed to change the password. However, in some cases, while changing the password, it has caused me to lose to connection due to network-related issues or something similar. What we need to have is a type of log for failure of password change.""I'll provide feedback on additional features after the project is completed. I think it would be better to comment on that after the implementation is finished.""There are some features lacking but they typically are added when the upgrades are released.""Initially, there were some issues with .NET applications in Windows 10 systems.""It should be browser-agnostic and, frankly, it is working well on Internet Explorer. It should work on popular browsers like Mozilla and Firefox.""Bulk password automation is not available in ARCON when compared to other products.""The usability should be expanded to other browsers like Chrome and Firefox.""ARCON Privileged Access Management is not a user-friendly solution, and the application flow from one screen to another is very complex."

"Hitachi ID Privileged Access Manager is cumbersome and it does not operate by itself and relies on other solutions. Overall the way you configure things is a bit awkward compared to other solutions, such as Cyberark and Thycotic. The interface could be more intuitive, some features I expected to be easily accessible I had to search around for them. There needs to be more centralization."
