Since we're fully virtualized, it integrates seamlessly. We use the agent for deployment within the environment. Management is centralized, so updates, deployments, and reporting are done through the main console. 

We have a lot of flexibility in scheduling and configuring how your antivirus operates, which determines how you receive reports and alerts. You can access those through Avaya meetings or directly in the console.

We primarily use the solution as an antivirus, for security and protection. I use it to protect my business.

In my company, we use the tool in our business-related network so that it can be used to detect everything connected to the PCs or the USB ports. The tool is useful to provide protection and prevention of attacks on the user appliances in our company's environment.

I have experience using this product. However, I haven't used it specifically since I moved to the Azure team. The reason is that when it was on desktops or on-premises servers, we used it to help customers.

For example, let's say their SQL Server was running and suddenly crashed. We would collect a memory dump and see that the McAfee driver was causing an unexpected integration check. So, we'd discuss with the McAfee team to see if the driver is signed and compatible with that specific system offering and if it's tested with the latest hotfixes we release.

We'd also check for any potential bugs in the antivirus filter drivers. That's how our relationship works with these antivirus vendor teams.

I utilize McAfee MOVE AntiVirus as a safeguard against harmful websites, which includes a web advisor feature that notifies me of potentially dangerous sites when I go online. This helps me determine whether or not to visit a particular website. In addition, I can perform a full computer scan if needed, and McAfee is also capable of scanning external devices such as USBs when connected to my computer.

I can be warned before opening some attachments. It will do some scanning and provide some assurance that they have done that check so I feel protected. It's a good level of security.

Every once in a while, I get a message saying that the solution has completed a scan and no threats have been found. I'm not sure if it's my Microsoft antivirus or if it is McAfee, however, sometimes when I try to access a website, there's a message that says it's not safe to view the website and attackers might be trying to view the data. I'm not sure which one is doing it. McAfee or Microsoft, however, I do get these messages sometimes.

I have been using this solution for six months. We use the private on-prem deployment model. Our primary use case is for clients who have big environments. For VDIs it's a nightmare to install security software to all of the VMs. It's a bottleneck for resource consumption and highers the data consumption costs. For example, let's say we have 1,000 VMs and we want to scan all of them with an agent-based solution, it eats up a lot of resources. A company offers agentless solutions, they prepare a VM and they scan the VMs without installing an agent. That VM will take care of the scan. McAfee MOVE minimizes a lot of the overhead.
