"The most valuable feature of Oracle EMCC is its flexibility to manage various industries, projects, and tasks.""The capability to manage incidents, monitor agent statuses, and address performance issues is highly valuable.""The dashboard and reporting help us to do preventative AI and analytics to detect performance bottlenecks.""It is a highly stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.""The solution provides very useful insights for application and database performance tuning. We were able to do away with guess work in determining where the bottlenecks were in application performance.""Another feature is the Resource Manager, where we can manage the consumption of resources of certain queries, separately in resource groups. Depending on the characteristics of the query, queries can be placed in groups that consume less database and hardware resources.""You can create a system group (database, application, and web server), so you can monitor performance as a system.""I use the solution for troubleshooting."

"Being able to consolidate everything on similar hardware is really helpful, as opposed to trying to manage a bunch of hosts.""I rated this solution an eight because it's intuitive and easy to use. The features that it'll bring us are tremendous""What I find most valuable is its simplicity, which allows us to seamlessly migrate views from one physical server to another, be it due to resource overloads or transitioning from one set of disks to another.""It's pretty user-friendly. It is very intuitive, the layout is well-built, and the user experience is well-built. You look at the interface and you say, "Oh, I understand what these sections or what these categories of features do." For example, for reporting, there's a tab that says "Reporting." You click on it and there are all your reports. So the user interface is really well-designed to make it intuitive.""The solution gives suggestions regarding whether resources are underutilized or overutilized.""We use the product to minimize downtime, as well as be in a position to plan for future growth.""It has also definitely reduced the time to troubleshoot issues. The fact that it gives us that single pane of glass to look for stuff, that's the first stop whenever we start troubleshooting.""It is intuitive and user-friendly. As you go through it, with some of the wizards and some of the interfaces that are out there, I think it's fairly easy to step through, even when we're training new employees to work with the product."

Cons
"The solution is just too expensive, so maybe the pricing could be better."

More Cisco Piston Enterprise OS Cons →

"Adding new databases is difficult in Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.""You cannot use Enterprise Manager as replacement for a WebLogic console.""There is a lot of information required to deal with the vulnerabilities in the product on a timely basis, for which the documentation part is not available.""One area where Oracle EMCC could improve is file import flexibility.""The configuration is not straightforward for web continuity. It needs some improvement and the deployment is expensive.""I've had both positive and negative experiences with support. Its compatibility with the rest of the products in the market is less.""Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control manages the monitoring and the graphs. Other tools complement the base monitoring. Zabbix is efficient with space pressure.""The only negative thing about this product is that it doesn't support all environments or all applications."

More Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Cons →

"We integrated vROps with vRealize Log Insight, but it was not helpful to me. It was not giving me any good data.""One of the big challenge with vROps is there so much to learn as a user as you're doing it. It is also getting these dashboards in front of the executive committee, so they can actually see the environment.""As they're able to add in more vendors for hardware to be able to pull information from different firewalls, switches, or other vendors, I would like to see where we can get more of a complete view of what's going on in the network. That would make this solution better.""I rated this solution an eight and not a ten because we work to give a multi-tenant product to our customers and vROps doesn't meet our needs.""Moving forward, I would like to see some tighter integration with the vSphere Web Client, just so that I don't have to open multiple windows and jump back and forth. We've currently running vSphere 6.7 and there is a lot tighter integration between vROps and vSphere, but it can always be better.""One thing I mentioned when speaking with the engineers is that we'd like to get more granular reporting. We'd like to see more real-time reporting on the application-process level. Right now, we don't get that. For example, if I have a VM that's spiking up on memory or CPU, I can't really drill down to the application level and say, "Hey, I have IE that's spiking due to the user's streaming of video and that's affecting their entire session." vROps doesn't do that.""At the beginning, the stability was not that good. The latest versions are much better.""The room for improvement is in the definition of the metrics. There are millions of metrics inside the solution, but there is no documentation from VMware for what those exact metrics are. That is a trouble point at times."
