Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"You can scale it easily.""Upgrades are very simple as well because they've allowed us to get updates directly in the CloudCenter Suite manager. If you need to do an upgrade to your setup afterward, you just push a button and it rolls out the parts and retires the old ones. It's seamless and very simple compared to what we've done before.""The initial setup process is straightforward.""I can define all components and create a blueprint for consumption across all services.""The solution includes a lot of features and is useful because you can configure all the way down to ports.""The solution is agile and it has APIs for integration.""Cisco has a lot of published information and documentation that helps users understand the product and its offering very well.""The initial setup is fairly straightforward if you have a basic setup."

"From a scalability perspective, I found the solution to be completely fine...The solution's technical support is absolutely fine.""I like the tool's controller facility.""It does a little bit better than some of the other products health-wise and updates-wise. It is really clear that a firewall is getting the signature updates in this timeframe. In some of the other products, usually, you have to go a couple of screens in to see that, but not so much in this product.""The role-based access controls give us granular control over what features to present to a customer, and the integration into FortiAnalyzer is the most valuable feature.""I like the product's asset management which gives clear hardware details.""The documentation has been satisfactory.""I am very comfortable with it, including it's reporting on threats and through its activities.""The firewall and site-blocking features are valuable."

Cons
"The improvement I would like to see is not one thing particular to CloudCenter. I'd say it's more of a message that the system is still using a lot of the different products and if they would all just fit better together, they all could be faster together.""I'm not a big fan of CloudCenter. I don't have anything against it, however, the on-premise version has been so hard to upgrade and maintain.""They should provide an entire cloud offering, from architecture to network security features.""They can add some of those features to make the platform more usable for different backgrounds and developer skills.""Improvements are needed in UI and multi-tenancy for this solution.""The tool should improve its security on the XDR part.""For many clients, the main problem with the solution is the price. Cisco is very expensive. If they could somehow make the pricing more competitive, that would be a big draw.""The solution needs to be more simple."

More Cisco CloudCenter Cons →

"Fingerprint access security would improve this solution.""The tool should provide a 10-15 days extension for customers when their license expires.""The solution is more expensive than other products.""So if it's more than a thousand, there could be some scalability issues. It becomes more complex as you go.""If you are a very small company or a person on your own, it's harder to get any response from technical support.""The product must have in-built SD-WAN connectivity.""I find their logging a little bit trickier to manage. The logging of events is broken up into a lot of different categories. Instead of breaking up my logs into several different places, I personally like to have all the events in one spot and then filter them down. In particular, I find that troubleshooting on Fortinet takes a little bit longer just because of those functional breakups in the logs.""It's useful for us but if it had more educational reporting, it would good. It's not necessarily lacking but it's an area that could get better."
