Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We have a lot of governance and compliance requirements as a bank that we can fulfill with this product.""I use this automation solution, because it is very flexible. This automation solution supports a lot of computer platforms. Also, a lot of operating systems are supported other than automation solutions.""The solution includes many features and is scalable and stable.""It is easy to set up and use. The whole system is complete.""We do not have to use a broad variety of agents to connect to different types of systems.""The scalability is good because you can add on as many services and processes as you want.""Without automation, it would be nearly impossible to do all the jobs that we are doing.""The company can expand with this product. Every time I bring in new ideas for solutions, it is with this product."

"It is very easy to build integrations and processes to pull and push data.""Integrity, ease of use, user-friendly user interface, and errorless logs are the most valuable features.""It runs like an appliance and has tremendous throughput.""Easy integration with Salesforce""The fluid user interface (probably the most user friendly interface, when compared to its competitors).""It is a scalable solution.""Jitterbit handles the most lines of data in a .csv and loads the quickest of any data loader I have tried.""The Cloud Console for monitoring and troubleshooting data operations."

Cons
"It would be better if it was easier to view the automated processes.""Content of file transfers cannot be searched by the system, but has to be done by the user interface. This is not good, as it has been erased often.""The hotline can take a long time. They will say, "I will take it and give it to the Level 2 support."""The only thing that we would like improved is the FTP agent. It only supports SOCKS proxy, and we would like it to also support an HTTP proxy.""There are certain jobs that are triggered one after another. It would be helpful to have a more user-friendly way of seeing how these jobs are connecting from one server to another.""Most of our issues are related to the system, not the job scheduling, such as, bugs and unexpected downtime of the application or database.""An area for improvement would be SQL performance. While tracing SQL traffic, we noticed a lot of commands that cause contention/locks as well as forced waits. The efficiency of the SQL could be greatly improved (in some cases by simply replacing nested Selects and using NOLOCK hints).""Choosing Automic Workload Automation essentially locks us into their ecosystem, making it nearly impossible to switch to a different product."

More Automic Workload Automation Cons →

"The initial setup can be a little bit difficult.""Its API management capabilities need improvement.""Sometimes we experience disconnections and I have to close all Jitterbit programs.""In the past few months, there have been some server downtimes during work hours that have affected some critical scheduled integrations.""I would like the ability to offer a dedicated cloud version for security.""I know with Salesforce updating the UI like they did, it slowed it down a lot.""You need to have some development skills or hire a Jitterbit engineer to make changes.""There were some bugs in the product. For example if you run a delete query and test, it deletes the actual data."
