What is our primary use case?

Intelligent Cloud Services is the union of all the clouds that we use in our organization. We use a variety of solutions that are part of this service.

This product is the principal portal, and the first thing you will see is the main website. This is where you have access to all of the capabilities and functionalities that Informatica has available, and you can explore. 

Essentially, this product is the umbrella of cloud offerings that Informatica has for its customers. Some examples are Cloud Data Quality, Cloud Data Integration, and Cloud Data Profiling.

How has it helped my organization?

In cases where you need access to a resource that you have in your on-premises environment, you just need to implement a virtual agent. This is easy to do.

What is most valuable?

One of the most valuable features is that this service is always available. It's easy to get access because it's on the cloud.

This solution allows you to easily access and make use of information that you have in your on-premises environment.

What needs improvement?

This service could be more cost-effective.

The pricing model is something that can be improved. It is the same model that is used for all of the Informatica solutions.

What other advice do I have?

This product is the most agile way to use all of the data capabilities and data services that you need to exploit in your company. We are happy with all of the features that it has and it is difficult to think about anything that should be added. It contains all of the capabilities that Informatica has.

My advice for anybody who is implementing this product is to have a clear roadmap of their cloud journey. Operating in the cloud and the way we work is much different than we are used to in an on-premises environment. The most important concept that people need to have clear is onboarding this kind of solution.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
