We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"PingSafe offers three key features: vulnerability management notifications, cloud configuration assistance, and security scanning.""Atlas security graph is pretty cool. It maps out relationships between components on AWS, like load balancers and servers. This helps visualize potential attack paths and even suggests attack paths a malicious actor might take.""The solution's most valuable features are its ability to detect vulnerabilities inside AWS resources and its ability to rescan after a specific duration set by the administrator.""PingSafe's graph explorer is a valuable tool that lets us visualize all connected services.""It's positively affected the communication between cloud security, application developers, and AppSec teams.""The agentless vulnerability scanning is great.""I like CSPM the most. It captures a lot of alerts within a short period of time. When an alert gets triggered on the cloud, it throws an alert within half an hour, which is very reasonable. It is a plus point for us.""When creating cloud infrastructure, Cloud Native Security evaluates the cloud security parameters and how they will impact the organization's risk. It lets us know whether our security parameter conforms to international industry standards. It alerts us about anything that increases our risk, so we can address those vulnerabilities and prevent attacks."

"Qualys VM's best feature is vulnerability management.""The initial setup was good. We didn't have any problems with it.""Technical support is fantastic.""Tech support is helpful.""This is one of the best products I have worked with so far. I like the power of Qualys, and it's a better solution because you can scan a compact file, a BIT file, or batch files. The product already knows what's happening inside, and you don't need to expand the package. Tenable will do the same thing, but you need to have a package issuance claim. With Qualys, we can immediately understand the file, even a compact file. If there's some kind of discovery or incident, you will know what happened in the environment.""The reporting functionality is great.""The biggest benefit is from a security operations perspective, where we are able to drive our security posture upwards by remediating any discovered vulnerabilities.""Qualys VM's best features are vulnerability management and customizable scoring."

Cons
"In addition to our telecom and Slack channels, it would be helpful to receive Cloud Native Security security notifications in Microsoft Teams.""The integration with Oracle has room for improvement.""It does not bring much threat intel from the outside world. All it does is scan. If it can also correlate things, it will be better.""When we get a new finding from PingSafe, I wish we could get an alert in the console, so we can work on it before we see it in the report. It would be very useful for the team that is actively working on the PingSafe platform, so we can close the issue the same day before it appears in the daily report.""In terms of ease of use, initially, it is a bit confusing to navigate around, but once you get used to it, it becomes easier.""We are experiencing problems with Cloud Native Security reporting.""There should be more documentation about the product.""PingSafe can improve by eliminating 100 percent of the false positives."

"The tool needs to improve the adding assets and report generation features. I would like to see the policy scan of offline appliances in the product's future releases.""The price could be better. Asset view is still a legacy feature. I'm not able to extract the information about the asset with complete details. It would be better if they fixed that in the next release. I know Qualys is already working on it, so I'm hopeful it will be available in the next five or six months. That would be something that's changed where I seek improvement.""The disadvantage of working with Qualys is that the graphical interface is quite outdated.""It's not very user-friendly at times and requires in-depth understanding. So, a layman or someone new to Qualys won't be able to easily understand it. You need education to use the solution.""Make some minimal dashboard improvements.""Qualys does have an on-prem solution, but it is very expensive.""I would like to have CSPM, a continuous scan-like cloud added to the solution.""It would be nice to have an all-in-one solution that was automated and could handle the scanning and reports as well as the patching and updating."
