We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of Oracle Integration Cloud Service is its performance.""The dashboard provided by Oracle Integration Cloud for monitoring and error handling is very intuitive.""The most valuable feature is the ease of customization.""It is a scalable solution.""The most valuable feature of Oracle Integration Cloud Service is its ease of use. We do not depend on any tool to develop it. Everything is on the browser and is easy to integrate, even for someone who does not understand a lot about coding.""OIC offers a number of pre-built technology and SaaS adapters for high productivity for a wide range of target systems, both in-house via agents and cloud/SaaS, via a very flexible range of interfaces.""The most valuable features of Oracle Integration Cloud Service are the seeded integrations with many communication platforms, such as Slack and emails. It works best for the historical communication methods. Those are still prevalent with all the other clients. When we are doing the integrations, it makes it a little bit easier for us to communicate the same output over Slack, rather than sending out an email and downloading the report. The number of seeded functionalities within the Oracle Integration Cloud Service platform is better.""The Oracle integration tool is the most comfortable tool for using those Oracle products."

"The product's integration with PostgreSQL and Jira has been helpful for us. Its performance is good. However, we do not use it for large data sets.""I'm very passionate about this solution because if you look at any other tool that costs around $200 - $300,000, like Delphix which costs you a million dollars, Talend is very cheap and is almost is at par with what others can do. There is one thing which Delphix does which Talend cannot do, but overall, I would say apart from that, if you're looking for a solution, you should give it a try.""Talend Data integration has a wide library of connectors.""We have multiple use cases for this solution. We integrate with Salesforce, SAP and Oracle databases to build business logic and provide reporting."

Cons
"Now the platform is not built in a way that you can define.""The solution doesn't currently have a fully fledged workflow feature like they have in OIM.""There is a payload size limit and we're unable to integrate some legacy applications.""The error retrying mechanism could be improved. If an error occurs, it can be retried automatically, it would be helpful.""Oracle-based automation blueprints for the majority of the integrations would be helpful to have in a future release.""Configurable timeouts on each connection would be good.""Make it more similar to the on-premises features. For example, if you can edit the code directly rather than just dragging and dropping, or if you can edit the examples by going into the background, and one-click migration, I'd like to see included in the next release.""Lacks features for more complex integrations."

"The tool's technical support needs to be better. It doesn't have a local data center but pushes everything to the cloud. They need to check in with customers to see if they're happy and how well the solutions work. They need to assign a customer success manager for the accounts they sell.""There are no concurrent licenses, they only have seat licenses on cloud. That's the whole challenge. For example, if in any project your headcount increases or decreases, you do not have that concurrence and you have a seat license, you run into challenges because you have to procure a few more licenses for getting the job done.""Due to using the open-source version of Talend Data Integration, which lacks a scheduler, our current approach involves developing jobs in Talend, exporting them as Java packages, and utilizing an external scheduler, such as Windows Scheduler, to manage the scheduling process.""Sometimes there are bugs which are unidentified and we have to follow-up with the Talend team to resolve them. In a critical situation, it takes time for them to update patches."

    Reviews from Real Users

Oracle Integration Cloud Service is a solution that stands out when compared to many of its competitors. Some of its major advantages are that it has good adapters, is user friendly, and produces a solid ROI.

Rishabh S., Business and Technology Delivery Associate Manager at Accenture, says, “It has good performance, easy integration, is user-friendly, and also has helpful technical support. The dashboard provided by Oracle Integration Cloud for monitoring and error handling is very intuitive. You do not need a third-party dashboard or logging framework when you initiate the integration. There are a lot of adapters, which is what I like the most.”

“The most valuable features of this solution are the SFTP adapters, file adapters, and risk adapters, that we use in everyday projects,” says PeerSpot user Arun N., Technical Manager at a financial services firm.

Kanhaiya C., Solution Architect at Tata Consultancy, explains, "Oracle Integration Cloud Service is a really good product and the ROI is very good with it. It lowers development time. A development cycle that may have taken a year without Oracle Integration Cloud Service can drop down to three or four months with it."

Talend Data Integration is a powerful solution that enables integration with various databases, including Salesforce, SAP, and Oracle, to build business logic and provide reporting. It offers TMC (for creating sub-admins, which are useful for organizations with multiple applications using Talend), profiling, and project creation. The cloud solution also provides automated upgrades, while on-premises solutions require manual upgrades.

Talend Cloud Integration has helped organizations by allowing teams to use remote engine concept on AWS, spin up their job servers, process their own data on the cloud, and seamlessly integrate cloud-to-cloud environments.
