Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The backup retention was pretty good. Being able to archive users who had been backed up, is a good functionality. Even if they've been deactivated it'll keep the backups and keep them protected."

"The solution is very simple. Management of the platform is so simple that we don't need to have any training to deploy this solution.""What I found most valuable in Veeam Agent for Linux is that it can unify machines and even simplify management.""The most valuable feature is the instant restore option.""The most valuable feature of the solution is its integration with Veeam Backup & Replication console.""The Veeam Backup and Replication Suite is very user-friendly.""It's most compatible with VMware. It can restore single files instead of having to restore the whole machine, once again leading to savings for the company.""Veeam has a "next, next, finish" installer, and the overall deployment is straightforward. The deployment is easy because Veeam is compatible with all our VMware services and VMs. Veeam Backup and Veeam ONE are integrated into vCenter or vSphere site deployments, so we don't need to deploy each server one by one.""It's stable and reliable."

Cons
"StorageCraft wasn't getting full backup coverage. It was backing up around one to 2% of the points. It was not a reliable platform and it wasn't giving any sort of alerts that things were not working."

More Arcserve Cloud Services Cons →

"There isn't much to improve. They just need to follow the trend or the development of other Linux products. Follow in terms of making the product compatible with new versions of Linux. They just need to include as many versions for Linux as possible.""It would be much better if more applications were supported on the Linux side. For example, their agent for Windows not only can back up the Windows machine, but it can also back up Active Directory for granular restore, SQL servers, Exchange, Oracle, SharePoint, etc. When it comes to Linux, only Oracle databases are supported. There are workarounds, though.""More Linux systems should be made compatible with the solution.""In the next version, I would like to see an increase in the locations online. I have found that other products have good pickup location.""It has no cloud backup feature. You can't back up anywhere outside of your local network.""In terms of the physical environment, I'd like them to integrate it with other kinds of solutions. We don't just work with Microsoft or Linux, but other kinds of infrastructure data as well.""The pricing could be lowered if possible.""The solution is pretty stable right now, however, we believe that the solution could be made to be even more stable."
