Some of the most important criteria for choosing a BI solution include scalability and performance, usability and UI, ease of development, and mobile/cloud based customization. The most compared BI solutions of all of 2014 were OBIEE v. Tableau, with over 2,302 comparisons on IT Central Station. The top BI solutions viewed by users from small and medium enterprises was QlikView, but by users from large enterprises was Microstrategy.
