About me

I have degree in Physics and an post-graduate degree in Education and after graduation, I worked as a volunteer at an all boys’ school for underprivileged kids. At the school, my stipend was so small that I became very grateful for the avocados growing on the tree in our back garden. Eventually, I was recruited by the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations to run IT systems post-conflict in Rwanda (UNAMIR) and then in the former Yugoslavia (UNTAES). I met my wife in Rwanda and we married, and moved to Washington D.C. where I worked with Tivoli Solutions, part of IBM, and an IT start-up firm, Orsus Solutions. I later settled into the network at Capri Capital, a large mortgage-finance company.

I started Whitehorse Technology Solutions with a vision for providing exceptional technical support to small to medium businesses, embassies, and organizations in the Washington D.C. metro area. Over the next 10 years, Whitehorse grew into a premiere IT consulting company, serving clients in D.C., Chicago, and Pittsburgh. In 2015, I sold Whitehorse to Computerware LLC and joined as the CIO to provide technical expertise, test and manage new technologies, identify and implement cost-saving measures and increase revenue.

My focus is on providing this excellence to a wider audience and keeping our clients secure, and ahead of their competitors. I strongly believe that technology shouldn't be a considered a cost burden but a competitive advantage to every single business. I provide analysis, audit and compliance recommendations, implementation and cost benefit analysis for all the standard frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ITIL etc) and compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA, SOX etc). The result will be that you get more done quicker, cheaper and faster than your competitors.
