FortiMonitor to monitor the infrastructure of our customers. We check on what is happening with their operations, monitor bandwidth, ensure configurations are appropriate for the customer, and identify if anything is going wrong.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable features of
FortiMonitor are its redundancy and monitoring capabilities. It helps in knowing what is happening in the system, allowing us to fix issues or enhance configurations. The alerting capability is very proactive, making it good to have alerts for proactive system management.
What needs improvement?
Fortinet can improve FortiMonitor by adding the same visibility to other brands, because sometimes our customers use multiple brands in their network. It would be best if it could monitor multiple brands.

I have used the solution for less than five years, maybe.
What was my experience with deployment of the solution?
The deployment experience is very straightforward and not complex to configure. For enterprise-level companies, within the first fifteen days, we have the solutions working so customers start to see all the functionality.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
All solutions have issues, but my experience with FortiMonitor is very positive. It does not fail often, and the customers see it as a very stable solution.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Chile is a small country, so my solutions might not compare to U.S. solutions. We have implemented solutions working with around a thousand different components, which is a big solution for us. In general, FortiMonitor is scalable.
How are customer service and support?
I have had very good results working with Fortinet's customer service and support. I would rate it a nine out of ten.

The initial setup is straightforward and not complex to configure. On a scale of one to ten, it is rated an eight for ease of setup.
What about the implementation team?
We assign two engineers to implement the solution, which is more than enough for deployment.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
For our type of country, it is always expensive, but it has competitive pricing.

Overall, I would recommend FortiMonitor to others. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate FortiMonitor a nine.
