We utilize the syslog management solution for our network.

Having the ability to see all the security of the logs is helpful.

Simplicity is the most valuable feature. The solution presents logs with different colors, along with timestamps and log visibility for event monitoring.

What needs improvement?

I would like to have the new logs visible in the background without the need to open a new browser.

I previously used the standalone Kiwi which is similar to SolarWinds Kiwi Syslog Server.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is straightforward. We install the solution on a server and perform the configuration on remote devices. The server remains passive and does not send any requests to the remote devices. Instead, it receives events from the devices. To ensure that all logs, or specific logs, are sent, we need to configure the devices accordingly. Additionally, there are block servers in use.

What about the implementation team?

The implementation was completed in-house.

What other advice do I have?

I give the solution an eight out of ten.

There is no need for maintenance.

We have less than 100 devices using the solution.
