We performed a comparison between Kaseya VSA and LogMeIn Central based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about NinjaOne, Kaseya, TeamViewer and others in Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM)."The way Kaseya VSA treats application vulnerabilities is good. They have released some new features that have been a benefit, such as updates from the Microsoft repository directory."
"Kaseya VSA's best features are auditing and reporting."
"Kesaya is highly configurable."
"The patching is very efficient and we can rely on the alerts that we receive."
"The most valuable features of this solution are automation, inventory, and patch management."
"I like the remote control, audit, inventory, patch management, software management, and monitoring features."
"The patch management and the remote support are very good, especially the remote support. There is a module built into the solution which allows remote control without necessarily interrupting the user. We could manage things in the background without them seeing or interacting with anything, which is a very useful feature."
"VSA installs an agent on every computer that allows users to create a help desk ticket with one click. That's why I chose VSA. Many users never create tickets when they have a problem. Sometimes I won't know about an issue until they run into me and say, "Hey, this has been broken for two months.""
"It is a scalable solution."
"The ability to manipulate and do things to the computer and file manager, then boot to safe mode, and see what is going on and track alerts. I use it all."
"I like being able to dial in and transfer files for updates."
"One of the improvements they made was a LogMeIn Central client - that was a couple years ago - and that has been great. You no longer have to use their web interface. There's actually a client that you can install, which lists all of the machines and servers that you can access. That works really well."
"The initial setup was simple."
"LogMeIn Central allows numerous active clients, say... 50, to use licenses for remotely accessing a computer from home, taking advantage of all the solution's built-in security features."
"I like the options for multiple displays. The unattended access is very useful, but it can also be misused. So, it is something you have to be careful with."
"Using the product, we provide a quicker response when supporting customers."
"The audit and KNM tools could improve."
"Its scripting language kind of sucked. They have their own version of PowerShell inside VSA. if you want to reach out and grab endpoint information, for instance, to know how many end devices have a program installed, you actually have to write a script for that. It wasn't like how it is in CrowdStrike where you can just do a search, and it just happened. In VSA, you have to write your own script to do it. In terms of new features, an integrated MDM for mobile devices would be awesome."
"The user interface is somewhat outdated."
"Some configurations and abilities from the system are not of use. The solution should offer webinars or some sort of training offerings to help users learn what the system can do and how it can be done."
"We actually upgraded the solution due to the fact that we needed the support for Apple devices. We haven't had a chance to test that part of the product just yet, however, that was our biggest criticism of the product prior to this most recent update."
"The deployment process could be better."
"If you compare with other products, Manage Engine has some features that we like but are not present in Kaseya."
"Kaseya VSA could be improved with more features to support the latest operating systems."
"I have had issues where LogMeIn has not been useful, then we have not been able to work that day. This happens probably two or three times a year."
"The solution is expensive as hell."
"The file transfer could be better. They could make it a lot easier to deal with. LogMeIn Central is not that intuitive. It's a lot harder to figure out."
"The screen. Make it clearer. The screen resolutions don't always line up. So clarity of the screen, and speed."
"It's not really a true RMM product but more of just a remote access."
"File transfer on the free version needs improvement. Allow file transfer with drag and drop to and from Remote Desktop. "
"Compared to other products, I feel that their biggest weakness has been customer service. They are very nice, but things take forever to resolve. It has been a major issue there. Otherwise, we're happy. We haven't moved away from them because we haven't found anybody with comparable pricing for our business model."
"They should provide intermediate device limit options for the users."
