Find out what your peers are saying about Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic and others in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability."Dynatrace has great training available. It is easy for everybody to use. Anybody can go out to YouTube, watch a video, and figure out how to use the piece that they need."
"We have improved performance by 50% and determined conflicts in the application to eliminate errors."
"The real-time monitoring, which we are getting, is amazing."
"Dynatrace has helped us reduce outage times and severity of impact."
"Support from Dynatrace is excellent. They are always on hand for any queries, demos, and/or issues."
"The Davis artificial intelligence built-in program is valuable. It keeps all the information about the systems, connections, service calls, and requests in its database. It looks at response times and keeps everything in check with baseline figures. If anything goes outside of that baseline, it reports based on that. If the performance starts degrading, it reports on that. Before something breaks, it tells you that it is going to break, and that's the most useful feature of Dynatrace."
"The graphical interface is helpful, as it illustrates things well for anyone who wants to know about the information it provides."
"Stability has been very nice, and Dynatrace runs on the Linux system."
"The dashboard is a valuable feature."
"The GUI has the most room for improvement. Sometimes, it can be a little cumbersome to find things and be able to create your own views, or be able to dig in and understand where things are."
"Enterprise Synthetic of DC RUM can be made more robust."
"The solution could improve by allowing more dashboards customization. This would allow us to monitor the metric better."
"Its infra monitoring is not that good. They are mainly into the APM environment, such as network monitoring and other things. Strong end-to-end infrastructure monitoring is missing. SNMP monitoring is currently not very good in this solution."
"I would like to see dashboards included, and maybe more possibilities in terms of customization."
"Nginx monitoring service did not work out-of-the-box, so we had to tinker with it for quite some time."
"It often produces "false alarms" and cannot identify failure patterns over days/weeks that do not indicate concern."
"If there was something that could be done at a local developer's station, something like, "Hey, here's a hint, this thing looks like it might not be optimized," or the like. I think more development features, to hedge that performance would be good."
"The solution is pricy and has room for improvement."
