If we're simply looking at endpoint monitoring, I think the problem is that your basic antivirus, your standard anti-virus, is woefully inadequate. If you think about small to medium-sized enterprises, my concern is that if they ask for guidance, they'll be told to turn on antivirus. They'd presumably get McAfee or Norton or something...
