Find out in this report how the two PaaS Clouds solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The ability to quickly create and manage resources is critical to getting things done, Azure just makes getting things done a lot simpler."
"We find that it is easy to integrate with other Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft Office."
"One feature I like in Microsoft Azure is its ability to host and run applications on virtual machines. It is a basic yet crucial capability for our team."
"The tool has proven to be valuable for our organization by enhancing the availability and reliability of services. Our website and several applications hosted on it now benefit from improved availability features and increased reliability."
"Some months ago, we started using Power BI embedded, which helped optimize the number of licenses for our company."
"With the Azure solution, you can get more value from your cloud investment no matter what your future goals are. It depends on your level of familiarity with the cloud you are using or with your computing. Azure helps you with every stage of the cloud."
"There are plenty of functions available that we have used extensively. It is a complete platform of services."
"Microsoft Azure is flexible and the performance is great."
"The APEX solution is the most interesting part of the Oracle Developer Service. APEX is the most cost-effective and most popular service for developers. Kubernetes and Docker services are also important and very much cost-effective, and helpful for developers. If we compare Oracle to other cloud services providers, they'll also be cost-effective. The financial involvement is also a good point because other cloud services charge for Docker and Kubernetes solutions. Oracle's offering is almost free. They only charge for the VM or virtual machine. This is also an interesting part for the developers as well."
"The solution's technical support is really good."
"There were also a lot of constraints with the serverless parts."
"Improving transparency in billing is crucial for us. Understanding how billing works only becomes clear once we start using the services. A more accurate billing calculator would help us anticipate costs associated with using specific services."
"At this point, the latency is too high to use Azure in our production environment."
"There is a need to be better on-premise solutions that are more helpful. However, I don't think that is the goal of Microsoft Azure. They want the solution to be secure cloud solutions with cloud applications. This is their main goal at the moment."
"We have reported some bugs we encountered, and it would be good if those bugs were resolved more quickly."
"There needs to be better data security. There are organizations that do not want their data to be submitted to Microsoft, they should have strong encryption."
"Difficult to understand how it works and it's an expensive solution."
"Microsoft Azure could improve by being more secure."
"t would be better if the open-source databases were managed. Some managed services for open-source databases are available in other cloud solutions, but Oracle doesn't have any. They should provision more managed services for open-source databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL. These types of managed database services should be available in Oracle Cloud Service and others. There are other technical issues like the CDN network that is not directly configured to Oracle and needs support from a third party. There are also some services available in AWS and Azure that should be included in Oracle Cloud Service."
"Improvements are needed in terms of the usage of the map chart and risk management services."
