Pratap has spent over Twenty-Seven years in serving different sectors from India & abroad including Power Utilities, Industrial & Commercial Sector, Government Sector, Information Technology and Metering Industry – directly & indirectly. He has proficiency in large scale Project Management with additional domain expertise of Cybersecurity, end-to-end Commercial processes of Power Distribution utilities and associated applications such as CRM, Billing/Payment collection, Automatic Meter Reading, Prepayment, GIS, Demand Side Management, Energy Conservation & Energy Accounting. He is expert in complex power distribution utility billing.

Currently, he is managing Information Security and Risk Management program of a renowned integrated Power Utility in India. As Group-Head Information Security, he is primarily responsible for providing line management, leadership and strategic direction for Information Security function and liaising closely with other managers to bring cyber risk below acceptable level by implementing various tools, technologies and process controls. He is also responsible for collaborating with business functions including OT environment and their support teams for development of effective security strategies in respective business / functional areas and promoting security awareness among users.
