What is your primary use case for Dell NetWorker?

We use Dell NetWorker in the banking sector.

I use the solution in my company as it is a product that has been sold to many customers, especially to those who need a foolproof, solid, and stable backup and restoration solution. The use case for Dell NetWorker has been for customers with at least 60 to 75 machines for which they need a backup tool, and after that, it can go up to a couple of thousand machines. The product is useful for those who require a working solution without much technical fixing needed to make it work. The tool's restoration part is the most important, which allows users to check if the restore part is working properly with Dell NetWorker's help. The aforementioned reasons prompted me to continue selling the product to our company's customers.

We’re 90% virtualized. NetWorker is backing up all our VMs. Since NetWorker and VMware are Dell products, they integrate well together. We back up 90% of our virtual infrastructure on it. We also use it for database backups.

We have a centralized data domain system with a 100% virtualized environment. The product helps us with VM Backup, NAS system backup, and file system backup.

Dell NetWorker is a secure and backup service tool.

In our company, we rely on Dell NetWorker for many important tasks. It is our go-to for keeping documents safe and making sure our virtual environment, especially VMware, stays secure with reliable backup and recovery. We also use it for protecting user data and meeting file recording needs. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in keeping our email system, Microsoft Exchange, backed up.

We use Dell NetWorker to back up data from several databases and virtual machines.

We have around 700 VMs and maybe 200 terabytes in standalone servers. So we are successfully backing up both VMs and the file systems of standalone servers. Altogether, we are backing up maybe 500 terabytes.

This is a very good product. The administration is very good when it comes to backup scenarios. However, maintenance and support are very difficult. The creation of jobs and backups could be easier.

I am using Dell NetWorker for backing up mission-critical business databases.

We run a software-based service. You need a network of software, and for that, you need one physical server with the connectivity of fiber cables and fiber cords. The server configuration has to be high.

We are a solution provider and this is one of the products that we implement for our customers. When we initially implemented this product, it was used for virtual machines that were running SAP. It is used for virtual machine backup, database backup, Exchange backup, and file-level backup.

Our retirement system in Chile is private. In short, in our social security system, when you put funds in every month, you'll have some money for your retirement. One of our client companies uses this solution for backups. There are a lot of terabytes that need to be backed-up. They have been using this solution for eight years. They are upgrading their hardware every day. Their hardware solution is EMC Data Domain and they use Dell EMC NetWorker in order to store the data. It works fine. Another one of our clients is a telephone company. They need to keep call data for long periods of time. Our other client is an astronomical observatory — the largest observatory in the world. They use Dell EMC NetWorker to keep track of their astronomical images, etc. We plan to extend our use of this solution. It's our life — we sell and deploy depending on our clients' needs.

We primarily use the solution for backup systems at the company. Ther is also a secondary use case whereby if our customers have this software, we can supplement it.

We use Dell EMC NetWorker for several solutions we have had such as Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Linux, Windows File, File data backups, and Oracle Databases.

The primary use cases are file system backup, endpoint backup, and virtualization backups. We are using it with Quantum and Dell Data Domain.

We are system integrators. We have many systems that are being backed up using NetWorker, mainly in a virtualized environment, with several typical workloads.

We use Dell EMC NetWorker for physical workload as well as virtual workload. We have deployed it on-premises as well as on the cloud for our clients. We have deployed it for a number of projects, and we are completely satisfied with it.

We are service providers and provide NetWorker for our end-users, our customers. For POC purposes, we use it on our premises. Also, to have an overview of each and every kind of NetWorker. We have a number of projects that we supply Networker for and we are completely satisfied with it. We use NetWorker to serve both workload types; a physical workload, and a virtual workload.

We are using Dell EMC NetWorker for backup and restore purposes.

Most customers are integrated with the hypervisor environment. It's a mix between VMware and Hyper-V. The database and integration with the database is SQL and it has since changed to Oracle. This is mostly what we are using to unify everything.

Primary use is a mixed and match backups, which include my file server, the Linux server as well as a the SQLs. As of now, we won't have that much of a challenge. But, sometimes it was required to make some manual intervention for any additional things. With Networker, we are having DD 25 MB as a back up solution. In addition, we are keeping the backup. So, currently it is working.
