Find out what your peers are saying about SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and others in ERP."For me, the main strengths of Microsoft Dynamics NAV are that it's user-friendly and light. These are its major wins. I have used other ERPs and their architecture were a little more complex when compared to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV architecture."
"The solution can scale."
"Our data is much more manageable than before."
"It is a stable solution."
"We like the manufacturing and case management modules."
"Its most valuable feature is the user interface."
"This is readily available and affordable, as well as user-friendly and simple to use in my opinion."
"NAV covers everything from purchasing and selling items to invoicing. Everything is within NAV, so it's all very neat."
"The scalability is very good."
"The solution is scalable and very stable. You don't need to worry about the underpinning infrastructure."
"I like the tool’s financial and human capital management features."
"What's most valuable in Oracle ERP Cloud is that it's one of the largest ERPs available in the market and it has a lot of customization features. It also has a lot of flexibility and integration options that work with other applications. Many of the customers also migrate to the cloud, so Oracle ERP Cloud is a preferred solution."
"ERP Cloud's most valuable features are general ledger, accounting, expense management, and procurement. These four functions are crucial."
"I like that Oracle ERP Cloud has a lot of ready-to-use products, making it easy to adopt."
"The main component is Oracle Financial. It is one of the most comprehensive financial solutions available on the market."
"The product has good functionality."
"Its task scheduling and manufacturing models need improvement."
"I am hoping there is more integration with other platforms, more features, and customization in the next release."
"The solution could include the retail tool in the native version."
"We need to customize more often than we would like."
"Since it's complex for a layperson user to understand the solution, it would be better if the solution provided some training resources."
"The initial setup of the solution was quite complex and the troubleshooting involved with that needs to be improved."
"If Microsoft made some of the security setups a little easier to work with, that would be a significant improvement. The warehouse management features could also use some work. We had to buy third-party software to make NAV's warehouse management and security more usable and functional."
"Microsoft Dynamics NAV could be improved in terms of exporting income statements and balance sheets. Currently, there is a feature, but you can only have the last three years. I spent some time trying to improve the KPI portion that exports the data, that already calculates the sub forms or subtotals, but they weren't able to break that up into different dimensions. They've now managed to crowd the separate table and you can export that, but it's only for the last three years. So, they could improve this solution by getting the chart of accounts or the account schedules to be exported, where you can go further than just three years with it."
"The expenses mobile app calculates different mileages than the URL version."
"The initial setup can be somewhat complex."
"If you go for the real-time process, the patch of work and the time to update the product will be too much."
"The solution should implement improvements with AI technology. Specifically, in the realm of ERP tools, this can be particularly beneficial, not only for cloud-based systems but for all types of tools. Additionally, a highly desirable feature is the ability to work offline."
"Improve support services in the new features roadmap."
"You need a lot of knowledge to set up Oracle ERP Cloud."
"In terms of areas for improvement, there are still a lot of other features that need to be incorporated into the future releases of Oracle ERP Cloud. We're hoping those would come soon because they're available in other ERP systems. For example, we used to have a lot of AME customizations in the BPM, but now we have a very limited scope, so it would be great if we could extend our scope. Currently, we are working with product teams to get through some of those solutions, and how we could implement them, so we have some workarounds to deal with, but we still have a long road ahead."
"There are integration issues and a lack of flexibility within OIC. When integrating systems, the process feels rigid and linear."
