Find out what your peers are saying about IBM, Microsoft, VMware and others in Cloud Cost Management."The initial setup wasn't complex at all."
"The initial setup was straightforward. It's not complex at all."
"The tool's cost management feature provides a comprehensive view of AWS costs, allowing us to plan and make cost-effective decisions. With AWS Cost Explorer, we can perform cost planning, generate recommendations, and provide clients with suggestions for resizing. This feature includes data filtering and protection, offering users insights into spending patterns through AWS spending patterns and planning tools. The product is easy to learn."
"The budgeting tool of AWS Cost Management is the most valuable feature."
"The stability and scalability are good."
"All of the reporting features are very good, as they allow us to track monthly expenses and send relevant emails."
"The product provides the ability to set cost limits and budgets for a set of resources on the network."
"With the cost management tool, clients can optimize fine tuning their consumption."
"The most valuable features of Nutanix Prism Pro are the user interface is quite easy to understand and it provides easy management for administrators."
"I like being able to expand my workload with Nutanix Cloud Manager at the best cost."
"It is interesting to me how Nutanix manages hyperconvergence, the possible failures that can occur in the platform migrating machine machines to nodes without problems while solving the failed node, but without a doubt prism is the feature that I value the most since I can manage and monitor everything in a single tool, giving me simplicity, statistics, states of equipment resources, alerts, updates in a single click, migrate equipment nodes manually or automatically."
"Nutanix Prism Pro and Nutanix AOS have greatly improved our organization by providing a reliable and simple solution that requires little to no maintenance in order to successfully offer a stable service to our clientele, as opposed to the competitors."
"It is easy to access. Since it is web-based, you just punch in the API and it gives you all the servers in the company. The solution has helped optimize database performances."
"I really like the Nutanix Marketplace a lot. We publish standard workloads there and that, in combination with the Projects, allows for self-service, which is the most powerful feature of Calm."
"The administration components are the most useful since, with them, we have been able to win and perform preventive measures in the administration of the hyper-converged Nutanix infrastructure."
"It's easy to transfer data and synch up the change and manage/monitor from a single point. Backup is much easier too."
"I would like to see AWS Cost Management be more precise in their calculations."
"This program is not very scalable."
"AWS Cost Management has fewer features compared to Azure Cost Management."
"There could be an option to build custom dashboards for the platform."
"We need finer-grained control over the roles and policies for users, specifying their permissions as to what they can look at."
"AWS could improve the compatibility with other products."
"I would like to see the forecasting models improved with AWS Cost Management."
"The solution needs to improve the communication mechanism available to the stakeholders."
"For Nutanix, there are options to go with different types of hardware vendors for using the AOS operating system. We can deploy it on Dell, Lenovo, or IBM servers. If Nutanix had its own server, it would be good."
"The solution's virtualization could be even better."
"The integration with Splunk is a little lacking, and this is something that we've worked on with Nutanix quite extensively in the last year or two. It didn't really have a good integration. They built some dashboards, where they were trying to kind of recreate Prism. Prism is its own utility; it works well for what it does. But it doesn't provide us quite the detail that we are looking for or the historical data that we were after. So we had to build our own custom apps for Splunk."
"The list of blueprints and applications could be more configurable so you see all the fields you need and not just some predefined fields which are not customizable now."
"I would like to see a P2V feature like Move or Xtract. The interface for migrating from one VM infrastructure to another is one of the best but going from a physical machine to a Nutanix VM is a bit too challenging."
"When we tried to migrate an application from the old cluster, we couldn't run it on Nutanix’s native hypervisor."
"There are some cases when there are multiple alerts for the same issue. For example, if I forget to put it in hosting maintenance mode, then I start getting multiple, duplicate alerts for the same host, which we don't want. If I have already received an alert, I don't want another alert. So, there are sometimes false positive alerts because of update activity where we forgot to put it in maintenance mode, then we get multiple alerts or emails."
"Nutanix, as of today, they do not have many of the features that VMware hypervisor provides, such as the memory layer."
