We performed a comparison between Amazon AWS and SAP Business One on AWS based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Infrastructure as a Service Clouds (IaaS) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The environment is a rich playground, and if you tried to do the same things on-premises that you do on AWS, it would be a lot more challenging to execute. You can open up a virtual machine on AWS, run some experiments, and be done with it. It's much easier than buying new servers, provisioning them, etc"
"The solution scales very nicely."
"We have many projects where we can resolve a lot of issues with Amazon AWS. It has given customers a lot of visibility with their data. Many customers do not know what they can learn from their data and I provide them with this using useful information using Amazon AWS."
"This solution is a good option if you are looking for cloud-based storage. Using a cloud-based solution, it is not required to accommodate a full workload. You can start with a basic version and scale up as needed."
"Friendly console for implementation."
"Easy to deploy through the channel model for serverless architecture and easy to integrate through the organization model."
"They integrate well with various other solutions."
"We can spin up the server anytime and have root access to it."
"The top-level view and easy navigation to individual transaction levels are beautifully done in SAP Business One."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to access it from anywhere."
"Technical support from SAP is great."
"Setting up Business One is straightforward. It took us about three months to deploy Business One on AWS."
"The most valuable aspect is that it is easy to use the software."
"It is very flexible...It is a stable solution."
"It is well-established and caters to our user base efficiently."
"As a business technology platform, it is a flexible platform. It enables the customer to do faster integrations, and the solution's functioning requires low cost."
"It would be better if there was a way to see which components were still on. We have some situations where I forget that some components are turned on. We forget some components are on, and we only see that these components are on when we see the bill at the end of the month. It would also be better if AWS had specialized firewalls or integrations with leading products. For example, a specialized firewall with content filtering. We were looking for some firewall tools, and we saw that AWS doesn't have any specialized firewall tools in its services portfolio. So, we are looking for other tools like FortKnox, Forcepoint, and Check Point because we didn't find the solutions in AWS services."
"Scaling is an area that can be improved."
"The feedback we are getting from our customers, especially here in Turkey where the exchange rate fluctuates regularly, is that the solution is quite expensive."
"The overall convenience and the ease to use could be improved."
"The customization could be improved."
"An integrated platform would make it easier for administrators to monitor and manage."
"Price can always be cheaper."
"The problem with AWS is you have to keep up with the technology. If you don't stay up to date with the technology and its latest changes then you won't know what to use in your infrastructure."
"The interface needs to be improved. It needs to be more user-friendly."
"It would be better if the solution was on a cloud infrastructure."
"The AI tools, programming languages, and dashboard customization should be easier."
"Not a ten because it's not software for a structured company or something very big. That is my impression."
"Analytics could be much better."
"I would like SAP to replace Business One's fixed Web client with a native Web solution. Right now, their remote access is based on RVP. We have to access the solution through a Windows-based client. It's not a native Web interface."
"The browser access needs to improve, as everybody in the industry knows how limited it is."
"The web client is an area with shortcomings, which SAP is presently working on, and needs to improve."
