BMC Helix Cloud Security has room for improvement in terms of integrating its various features. It currently consists of separate point solutions that don't flow together as seamlessly as they could. This lack of integration, unlike platforms like ServiceNow, may be due to historical factors. Enhancing this integration would make it a more compelling choice from a business perspective and offer a smoother user experience. In the next release of BMC Helix Cloud Security, I would like to see additional features, particularly AI integration, which has already been announced. AI integration could bring more precision to the platform, making it even more interesting and effective.

While they offer decent support, there is room for improvement in terms of being more proactive with clients, especially by including proactive services in the maintenance contract rather than making clients pay for additional consultancy services every time they need something extra.

We contact the support team when we have issues. It is a global support team. It did take us some effort to explain the urgency to the team. Once you get the support personnel, they're very good.

The initial setup was easy. It was intuitive. The product is deployed on a shared cloud with the vendor. The deployment took roughly six months.
We had help from a third-party vendor to deploy the solution. An expert from BMC explained some things about the deployment to us.
We work on a third-party shared environment. It wouldn’t have been feasible for a smaller company. My company was actually the first one to do it. Just like any cloud security, it pays to do your research and have complimentary security involved. The product can’t be the be-all and end-all tool for your security. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
