I used the solution for blade management and deploying Windows Server.

What is most valuable?

The system is very powerful. It is very resourceful. The product’s enormous capacity has empowered our team to deliver solutions to all our clients. The system is very intuitive.

What needs improvement?

The support must be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The system is very stable. The PSU failover guarantees that the system will be maintained for a very long time.

Sometimes, we have to wait for a long time for the support.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is very intuitive. We do not face any problems. The support team helped us well during the initial setup.

What other advice do I have?

We deploy some VMs. We install Active Directory in the VMs. We also install file servers, DNS servers, and other ERP systems. Our clients need virtualization solutions. We use Hyper-V or VMware. We create VMs.

We don’t work with the solution anymore. We used it in a past project. We work with other Dell systems like Dell T410 and Dell T430. We use smaller systems. I will surely recommend the solution to others. The system is very trustworthy and reliable. Overall, I rate the tool an eight out of ten.

Helps to improve performance and server load
Pros and Cons
  • "In this setup, the traffic is distributed among the nodes, enhancing the overall performance compared to a scenario where all traffic is directed to a single server."
  • "We have faced network connectivity issues."

What is our primary use case?

In a three-node cluster or a two-node cluster scenario, if one node experiences an outage, the remaining nodes ensure the continuity of the application. However, in the case of a general database setup where only one server is used, any outage on that particular server would lead to application downtime, preventing users from accessing their environment. The advantage of an Oracle SuperCluster environment becomes evident in such situations, as even if one node is down, the rest of the nodes remain available.

Another significant advantage of using the product is improved performance through load balancing. In this setup, the traffic is distributed among the nodes, enhancing the overall performance compared to a scenario where all traffic is directed to a single server.

What needs improvement?

We have faced network connectivity issues.

How are customer service and support?

P1 incidents get resolved in an hour.

How was the initial setup?

The tool's deployment is easy.

What other advice do I have?

I rate the product an eight out of ten.
